Last Saturday before Christmas woohooo.

I was up at 6 had a brew and amsat on the couch staring into space lol.

Going to make DD2 breakfast, another cup of tea for me and then get dressed.

Got some tidying and sorting and need to nip out before we go to a friends for a little party for the children. Then it's home, throw something in the oven for tea and settle down for a night of Christmas movies and chills. Usually the Saturday before Christmas I'm rushing around doing everything but it's all done this year and I'm feeling very happy with that.

What are your plans for today?x

HollySwift what did he do?

Currently sat in the park with a shit tonne of washing in machines at the launderette.

Then home to clean my pit of a house with 'help' from dds.

Then bath the stinky monsters and wrestle a brush through dd1s matted mess of hair.

Make a gingerbread house.... then fail and let the kids eat the sticky mess we've made.

Clean the kitchen again.

Watch a film with dds (which they will argue over)

Finally get kids in bed. Have a glass of prosecco to prepare myself for the 10pm trip to Tesco once dh is home from work 😁

It's my birthday today and I've had breakfast and dinner made for me and have managed to get quite a bit of Christmas wrapping done while eating too many birthday chocolates.

Bedtime here now, so it's all done for another year. Tomorrow is the big tidy up for my mother who is coming to visit for the first time in eighteen years!

Happy Birthday @Mum2OneTeen Flowers

I’ve done battle at Aldi, the post office, Morrison’s and Argos (although the Argos one was fast track - fabulous invention!)

DH took DS to football practice.

I’ve just wrapped the last of the pressies, made a beef casserole for tea and a butternut squash, chilli and coconut soup (which was lush and I may have seconds)

DH has gone to an away match and DS and I will be calling in on my parents before going to a kids party, which is late enough and far away enough to comtemplate sticking DS in pjs for the drive home.

Might open the Christmas cheese and gin tonight Wine

This morning I dropped the kids with my parents while I went and did the dreaded Christmas food shop. All done and put away now. Picked up the kids, baby is napping & eldest is playing lego watching Christmas shows on Netflix. This will likely be the theme of the rest of the day. Relaxing.
Working tomorrow and then off for a week. Cannot wait.

Supposed to be cleaning the house but decided instead to sit in the sun with dcat, enjoy a glass of wine and admire my new sparkly Christmas nails. Also admiring two swarthy bearded builders across the road.

Pics of nails and dcat attached; would attach pic of builders but they've just spotted me Xmas Blush
