What are your Saturday plans?

Last Saturday before Christmas woohooo.

I was up at 6 had a brew and amsat on the couch staring into space lol.

Going to make DD2 breakfast, another cup of tea for me and then get dressed.

Got some tidying and sorting and need to nip out before we go to a friends for a little party for the children. Then it's home, throw something in the oven for tea and settle down for a night of Christmas movies and chills. Usually the Saturday before Christmas I'm rushing around doing everything but it's all done this year and I'm feeling very happy with that.

What are your plans for today?x

OH is in hangover hell.. was throwing up most of the morning after an impromptu get together with school mums and kids after school broke up yesterday. 😳

He's had to walk about a mile to go and pick up our Xmas turkey from m&s as our car is still parked outside friends house!

We were planning to make mince pies with the kids today.. hoping to still do that. I've sacked off my pilates class as cant be arsed!

Hopefully chilling and films later.

I've been to Tesco to collect my turkey crown. It feeds 7-10 people allegedly ..we will see. Only six for dinner on the day.

Tesco was a heaving mass of humanity at 7.45am and I hate crowds. Got in, got my turkey and got right out as quickly as possible. I don't fancy seeing if at 2pm today as I suspect it will be awful.

Not planning on leaving the house again today. Heating on, coffee on the go and TV on. I'm done

Dh has just gone to Aldi to get a few last minute bits, other than that we are mostly staying home. Ds2 is just getting over tonsillitis so a quiet weekend before Christmas I think
We missed out on our planned trip to a German market, see Xmas lights and ice skating this week due to tonsillitis, so we may bundle up this evening and take a walk around town to see lights and stop by the chip shop on the way home.
Christmas movies, making popcorn garland and paper snowflakes this afternoon.

I was up at just gone 5am so I could drop DS2 and OH a the train station for 6.15.

Thought I would get breakfast somewhere but could only find Sainsburys advertising as cafe open from 7am. So did a bit of shoppping (and had problems with my new card), only to find the cafe wasn't open till 8...ended up in McDonalds.

So Ive come home and had a hot chocolate and some gorgeous Mojito Jam.

Gonna chill for a bit abd wait for some deliveries. Might do some wrapping later

I need to
Scrub the bathrooms
Wash the kids bedding and make the beds
Make some kind of lunch for for everyone stepdaughter and he son are coming this aft to exchange gifts
Make cranberry breakfast sauce thing and granola
Build dd Xmas present-a desk although this might have to wait til Tom
Food shop tonight

At the moment in struggling to get off the sofa

First day of the Christmas holidays for me. Just waking up in a rather lovely hotel after our pre-Xmas family theatre treat last night. Will get up and wander down for a slap-up breakfast soon. Planning to hit the pool/spa for a family swim session before packing up and heading home.

Doing a 4 (FOUR) hour charity bag pack at Waitrose this morning with DS (15)

Then some food shopping, making bread sauce & cranberry sauce, then wrapping all presents! Then i have some chill time as DP at work & DS at his Dads.

I might have a sherry later.

Deep clean of house will take place tomorrow —when I’ve summoned the energy—

I am mostly done!

Need to take the girls to the hairdresser at lunch time, then dd2 is going shopping with their dad for my gift from her. I'll help dd1 wrap dd2's Christmas gift she's bought while they're in town and probably wrap birthday presents too.

House could do with a blitz but isn't too bad. Washer's on, another load piled at the side of it for when this one's done.

Will probably do some baking with the girls later on I think & hide away in my room to finish wrapping their presents. Still need to find a giant unicorn somewhere but think I will be asking their dad to do that - he will be faster on the bike than me on the buses to trawl round shops on retail parks.

Starting with a migraine here I think...so my plans for seeing family, getting house cleaned/tidied and eating chocs with the kids are looking less and less likely. Gutted 😞

Trying to know the hangover on the head before my Dad visits at 11, then into town to meet up with DD, her partner, best friend and her daughter for lunch, then pick up as food order then over to best friends house for drinks

The dog has had a long and muddy walk. Now sitting in a car showroom waiting for for my husband to test drive a car he’s interested in. I’ve got some shopping to do later and my husband and our oldest son and his girlfriend are off travelling later for an overnight stay at my mother in law’s house.
Youngest son is at work and is later bringing his new girlfriend around so I’ll get to meet her.

I was up at 6 and at Asda for 7. Food shopping all done by 8! Then I told the dog for a walk which was lovely as the sun's shining.

At the moment I'm drinking coffee and waiting for a heating engineer to arrive and (hopefully) fix my boiler. DS is working at 12 so will give home a lift, then I'm getting my hair coloured and cut this afternoon.

This evening will be spent wrapping.

Having a lazy Saturday.

Everything is done,blitzed the house yesterday and did the last of the food shopping.
So I am sitting in my warm bed with the laptop.

Early evening we will do a couple of visits giving out presents and the last of the cards and end up with family for a party.

Not feeling brilliant but dosed myself up as we’re off to “ Santa by Steam” this afternoon. We’re doing our big food shop tomorrow. Last minute pressie wrapping & trying to find the dining table are on the agenda tonight. Everything gets dumped on that table!

Currently sitting on the sofa with tea, toast and two terriers snoozing by me. Will move in a moment to finish the shirt I'm machine embroidering with a steam punk design for my husband. When that's finished, all the gifts are sorted. Quick hoover of the staircase as Ronny the Roomba can't manage stairs. Dog walk to the pub at lunchtime to meet my husband and other friends who are out doing a charity collection at the moment. Then off to Olympia for the evening Performance of the Horse Show

It's just me & the DC today. We're not leaving the house, just winding down from end of term etc.

They are currently making up songs. I plan to snuggle up with them in front of Santa Claus The Movie with hot chocolate later.

Working all weekend :(

Going to get my eyelashes done, try and find the charger for my hoover 🙄 then have a clean around then will order sushi tonight with DH. Quite a chilled day today hopefully.

Currently have a poorly toddler sleeping on my lap while DD(5) makes Christmas cards for the rellies. Need to get ready and go into town though (that's gonna be hell on wheels) as have library books to return and bits to buy before we drive to the UK on Monday.

Lazy morning on screens. Three kids and a combined cold and hangover! After lunch we are going swimming then a quick food shop before cuddling up to a film. Nice tea and wine with DH tonight and hopefully some romance

Me and both children having cold, currently snuggling all in our bed and both watching some random Paw Patrol videos on You Tube.
However we have to get up and go to the shop and do Xmas shopping.
Later on I have to finish my Xmas cupcakes and bake the rest of cookies- dough already done.

I would like to create something like this, but I'm afraid that reality will be slightly different.😆😬

Just pottering today, done wrapping and shopping so a pj afternoon with the kids, nibbles, wine and films

Well currently sat waiting for OH then off to York shopping then food and staying over. Our annual pre Christmas get together before he goes off with his lads and I spend time at my sisters with my girls.
Looking quite forward to a cocktail later on 😀
