What are your films of 2018?

I have a Cinema Pass, so I think I go more than the average person and that it has become prohibitively expensive to many

With that in mind it doesn't matter whether you saw it in the cinema or whether it was new out this year just what are the best films that you saw for the first time this year

For me it's been a funny year I haven't been able to see as many none mainstream movies as I normally would.

So the films I've enjoyed most are surprising to me :

Avengers : Infinity War
A Star Is Born

Bohemian Rhapsody

Mamma Mia 2

Which I accept was crap but absolutely loved

(HQ can you please leave this in Chat not films for a while because Chat gets more traffic )

Bohemian Rhapsody was my film of the year I also enjoyed Infinity war

Mamma mia was a total joy of a film embrace it

Game Night is the funniest film I've seen this year.

Most disappointing (because I thought I was going to love it): Hereditary

I missed Game Night in the cinema and watched it pay per view.

I turned it off halfway

Very disappointed

To clarify my comment on Blackklansman enjoyed is very much the wrong word

It is a very very good film and an important one, but a very hard watch and I wouldn't watch it again in a hurry but I'm very glad I saw it.

The Incredibles,went to keep my dd happy and loved it.Lots of good films this year but I needed a good laugh.

Defiantly 3 billboards it was so brilliant Francis whatserface is an amazing actress.

And took ds to see Christopher Robbin which despite reviews I thought was lovely.

Mandy is definitely my film of the year, I absolutely loved it. Annihilation is a very close second though.

Oh ok I've googled Mandy and it passed me by because I really struggle to watch any horror at all.

It's just my sensibility

I thought I'd get away with Quiet Place because it's a creature feature not a horror movie, but nope

Bohemian rhapsody was my favourite this year, went cinema 3 times to see it, am rooting for it to get some Oscar nominations (I’m desperate for rami malek to be nominated and win best actor at the oscars).

I liked three billboards and was so glad that they won best actress and supporting actor for it as it was so good.

A star is born was okay, didn’t overly think it was worth the hype.

This thread is great, a few of these movies passed me by so I'll look out for them now.

And... I LOVED hereditary.
