I've had a lovely takeaway and now I'm snuggled on the sofa watching episodes of friends with the tree lights twinkling. Im going to have a lovely early night ready for a busy day tomorrow.

I have a gingerbread gin, homemade curry cooking away and I’ve got my feet up on the sofa with the Christmas lights on.

Can’t complain really!

Started the day at the Christmas markets, DC made me go on the Big Wheel. Had to bail as it was soooo cold. Didn't get my mulled cider but did bring back yummy sausage rolls for tea & mince pies. Did a big shop. Watched Die Hard while having tea (DS agrees it's a Christmas movie, DDs are still not convinced)Got everything in the pan ready to make our own mulled cider which we'll have in a wee while with our mince pies. Watching Strictly while listening to freezing rain/hail/sleet whatever batter down outside. Finally warmed up from this morning.

DH is out, teenagers on various games consoles, I'm watching Strictly with the cat and a bottle of wine

I spent the day at the christmas market with my 18 year old niece and my 9 year old nephew. It was great fun but freezing and now I'm exhausted and lying on the couch, while mum cleans squid I bought so I can cook it in a couple of mins I'm planning on having that and then opening my wensleydale and cranberry cheese or my garlic and chive cheese, or do I save it for my charcuterie board for christmas eve.

Also binge watching Bones on Amazon Prime before mum makes me put the tree up and stack the presents shes bought for people in my room

Mine sucks just a little - DH has been in bed today with D&V and I have really very bad tummy ache so am basically just sitting waiting for it to hit me. That said, both boys went to bed very easily at 6.30 so I can't complain too much

Having a quiet night in front of the fire. It's my last day of being 48. No plans tomorrow except defrosting the freezer. I know how to live!

Not long got home from work.
Candles lit,pjs and slippers on. The sound of silence after a busy day=bliss.
11 days and it's all over thankfully.

Stayed in this morning doing some cleaning and laundry then went back your bed for an epic nap when DH surfaced.

Took kids to soft play hell for a party this afternoon then hosed them down in the shower at home. Put them to bed, had nice beef casserole made by DH then got into bed myself
Soon I will be zzzzzzzzzzz (very tired primary teacher!).

On the couch with 8 year old ds, dh and the dog as the teenagers aren’t here. We are sharing a big bag of Doritos and watching a film.
Christmas tree is twinkling and the rain and wind are battering the windows but it feels nice and cosy in here.

Pretty quiet here, just had fish and chips for tea and watched Nativity on Netflix. After DD goes to bed I will be drinking wine and watching a few episodes of The Good Place.

Just got in from work after a looong day.
Feet killing me, back killing me, house is a tip as dh & kids have been home all day. Too cold to go out apparently. Wind is howling and rain thrashing to be fair.
Had left over takeaway for my tea.
Now sitting grumbling because Star Wars shite is on.

Pizza is on it's way and i'm browsing netflix for something brainless to watch whilst i wrap presents.

Take away is on its way after we've all eaten kids will go play on phones for a little bit, dh will go in our other room and plays ps4 and I'll watch some trashy tv whilst eating cake

We've just had dinner and are settling down in front of the fire with dessert and watching love actually.

I'm on the sofa with the lights twinkling and a glass of red wine. Just finished an Indian.
Two youngest are in bed and I'm just waiting for the next one to go up at 8 then I'm going to start my Xmas shopping.
Dh is being a useless lump as he was out on his work Xmas do last night.

I'm curled up on the sofa with my dpartner and our dcat watching XXX and drinking rhubarb lemon and mint cider had leftover Chinese and picky bits for tea

We went to keep FIL company for a few hours as my lovely MIL passed away a few weeks ago , he went upstairs and came down with her engagement ring and wanted to know if I would like it, so I’m feeling quite emotional now. Going to put on a brave face while we watch a film and have nibbles even thou I have a massive lump in my throat .

It’s nice and relaxing, but feeling lonely

Sitting on the couch, listening to the storm howling outside. I've just started downloading content to keep the dc amused on the flight to lapland tomorrow! Trying to decide if a baileys is a brilliant or terrible idea when I have to be up at 4.30...

Cold! I've had the heating on all day but just got the milk out of the fridge and it's semi frozen! I'm home alone today so I've been catching up on TV programmes that I've recorded and playing games/Mumsnetting. I'm still in my pjs
