What are you doing today?

I'm supposed to be meeting a friend with our DC at the local country park. We might have to brave soft play instead given that it's due to snow at lunchtime.

Visiting my mum in hospital. Although snow is forecasted I'm hoping the A roads will be gritted.

Going to look at a new (to us) car. Baby no 2 on the way and ours is falling apart so I'm very excited

Shopping, unfortunately. I've finished for DD but I have DSis to buy for now. We usually do a stocking for each other but this year have 5 'themed' pressies to get.

We're going to a family members wedding.

In the busiest part of a busy town, on a Saturday, in the rain, in the middle of the day, on the penultimate Saturday before Christmas

I was going to go down to town and meet sil and niece for lunch. Not bothered about the snow but the wind here is unreal. So new baby dd and me are going to snuggle in and watch tv. Might do some wrapping as well.

Got a lovely day planned today for a change. Once DP gets up we'll have a nice breakfast followed by a dog walk over a local parkway. After that we'll be delivering Christmas presents to family so lots of tea and chat throughout the day with some of our nearest and dearest. Once home later we'll get DS bathed and in bed so we can snuggle up and watch a movie.

I hope everyone has a nice day too.

Ohh, I forgot Christmassy things (somehow). We'll take DS to watch Father Christmas on his float. There's a fete too.

thenewaveragebear1983 will there be alcohol at this wedding? It sounds ill thought out.

Christmas shopping with DC2 then meeting DC1 and DH for lunch. Back home as house needs a massive de clutter . Takeaway, movie and mumsnetting in the evening

Minnie I hope so, although there's no evening reception, we will be home by 6pm. If needs be I'll crack open the Laithwaites delivery that arrived this week once I get home!

Once I can get out of bed there is cleaning and supermarket shopping to do. Then to the stables for DDs and my riding lessns (yaay!) and a trotting pole competition for DD2.
This evening we are out to BIL and SILs for mulled wine and snacks.

Taking dd for swimming lesson first thing. Other dd is horse riding at 11.30, I'm at the hairdressers at 1.30, then going to a panto tonight. Busy! Hope theres no snow 😔

DS and I are currently sitting in bed watching rubbish on my phone so I can have some semblance of a lie in. DH is still asleep
Once we all emerge we're picking up parcels from the post office then taking DS to the cinema to watch the CBeebies Christmas show.
I think this afternoon we're tidying and putting up our tree. A nice festive family day hopefully!

I've just checked the weather and it's going to tip it down . I think there is going to be a lot of bribery to keep the dc's going.

I woke up early by H and the boys are still asleep.
We need to get some food shopping, get the lads hair cut and drop some Christmas presents off as we go away next Friday so I want everything done and dusted by then.

This afternoon it’s going to snow so think we’ll just come back and watch films and maybe make choc chip cookies with the Christmas cutters.

Been up since half 6 with our cocker spaniel pup barking and running around (he wouldn't sit quietly in his cage) he's just done a poo and is finally settling down- so partner and I are having coffee atm.

Probably a drive somewhere, have a coffee and a walk maybe? Nothing majorly exciting. (Unfortunately!)

When dp gets up he's going shopping with adult dd2...they'll be out most of the day.

So just me the cat and the hamster at home...I'm planning on putting the tree up and decorating the house...have 6 Christmas cakes to make so will hopefully get 2 or 3 done today.

Will watch a Christmas movie and finish making some homemade Christmas stockings...whilst sipping something sparkly.

Oh...and I'll stay in my pj's all day.

Been out picking up the recycling as the wind threw it everywhere. Quick wash now and into town to do abit if shopping -on my own. Then home to make a curry for the family tea and put it in the slow cooker but im off out at 5 to a Christmas party!

Pottering about the house mainly.
Dp was our last night so he’s going to be having a lie in.
Dd1 is going to work, dd2 is going to the cinema with her new boyfriend, ds will be going out for a walk with dp.
I am going to get some wrapping done and possibly deliver some presents. Have a few deliveries I’m expecting today and a mountain of boxes and bags lurking in a corner of the kitchen which need tackling.
A couple of loads of washing but no real other household chores. Will light a fire and stay safe and warm at home
