I'm supposed to be meeting a friend with our DC at the local country park. We might have to brave soft play instead given that it's due to snow at lunchtime.

Posting parcels this morning then off to do my monthly volunteer work this afternoon. Strictly final on the tele box tonight 😁

Swimming lessons this morning with DS. Will drop him at his dad’s afterwards then I have a hair and make up appointment for my Christmas night out with work.

dd1s birthday so i have a cake to make and a bit of food shopping to do.
Heavy snow forecast here so not planning anything much else to be honest.

Taking our dd 8 to gymnastics for rehearsals then go8ng to watch the gymnastic christmas show this afternoon

Dd is doing her yellow belt at her martial arts class. Then taking my mum shopping to pick her main Christmas present.

DH home tonight after two nights away I've missed him loads. Can't wait

Still lying in bed mumsnetting, once up house needs clean and washing needs doing, meeting friends this afternoon to brave soft play. Then home for a cosy evening of telly.

Cleaning & washing this morning then shopping this afternoon. I've wrote a list I'm determined to finish everything today then I've just just got t to get fresh food next weekend. Then a Christmas film later this afternoon and may make a curry for tea followed by strictly final

Today I posted my Australian Christmas cards. I only have the hand-delivers ones to do now.

Went to see the splendid "Roma" at possibly the best cinema I Melbourne, the Classic at Elsternwick and experienced the utter pleasure (after a fab film) of emerging into the late afternoon of a lovely Australian early summer.

Then I went home and scraped up dog shit from echtpuppy off the front yard.

Parkrun, although currently sitting in the car in the car park as it’s freezing! Then hair appointment, then dinner at friends. DH and one child are finishing the Xmas cake and going to footy and other child is chilling then doing his volunteering before we all go to our friends.

I'm taking the dogs to see Santa Paws 😂

I’m just back from walking the dog, it’s his birthday today so he’ll get presents when everyone is up —don’t judge me—

We have to drop a box of treats and essentials into the local dogs home for their Christmas appeal and that’s near to a garden centre so I’ll run in there and get a gift voucher for my brother in law. I also need to drop a bag into a charity shop.

We’re also waiting for a call from someone who’s supposed to be coming to sort out our TV signal (we’ve ditched Sky and now can’t get any channels despite having an aerial booster).

May call in to see my parents but I need to be in after 6pm for an Amazon delivery.

I'm working today, I work in a country park. It will be quiet as the weather is cold and windy. I'm going to sort out the food for my volunteers xmas lunch and try and work out how to cook it all in our very basic cooker!

I'm in work until 1ish, then home for a shower and to get ready. Spend some time with partner and DS, then he is staying at my mum's tonight as we are going out with friends for a meal before Christmas. Wouldve been looking forward to a glass of wine but I'm pregnant so soft drinks all the way. I'll have a big fuck off chocolate pudding instead

Housework in the morning. Taking ds swimming after lunch then dropping ds at my mums for a sleepover then I'm doing a night shift at the royal mail sorting office sending all your parcels for Xmas

Swimming lesson for ds1 this morning, library for new books and then we are all going to a Christmas tree festival. Then home to make our gingerbread house and hot chocolates.

Still lazing in bed with dcat atm whilst dp is downstairs sorting dds breakfast. Need to nip to Tesco this morning for party food for dd tomorrow, then off for a Christmas themed afternoon tea later. Home in time for Strictly final and maybe some present wrapping, plus any last minute wedding prep before we get married next weekend!

Swimming lessons for DDs then meeting friend and her DD for coffee. May pop in to see my parents.

This evening I'm lesson planning for next term - trying to get ahead and avoid planning over Christmas.

Dh has taken our two youngest to their footy training. Ds1 is deep in the world of Rubik's cubes. I'm in the bath. Later on we are going for a family party and a relative's house where we will exchange secret santa gifts. Really looking forward to it because we don't get together often.

Already done one dog walk, cleaned and washed floors as said dogs trod mud in on new kitchen floor! 🙄 Adult kids still sleeping, so is DH.
Another dog walk about lunchtime, potter about the house, then out for dinner with friends tonight.

I have got to clean this house as I’ve neglected it all week busy doing Christmas stuff.

Then taking DS and his friends swimming. But I will not be going in with them! Too cold!

DH is working all day so DD and I are making Xmas cookies and a cheesecake for tomorrow's Fakemas we're having with a bunch of friends. Then we're donning our onesies (mine being the care bear onesie I got for a fancy dress do!) and having a Harry Potter movie marathon.

Supposed to be clearing the spare room and taking clothes to the charity shop. Instead I'm still drifting about aimlessly in my pyjamas. DP has gone into town to watch football later. Will be making Thai green curry for tea later on. Just can't seem to get motivated to sort out the spare room and have been promising to do it for bloomin' weeks now

Then I have to write christmas cards to the gneration above me.
Oh, and bake brownies - again.

Staying at home with my poorly Father in Law (at his house). He's asleep now having had a bad night. It's very quiet here, my Mum is at home looking after our three small boys. I miss them. I hope tonight is a more comfortable night for FIL. My husband is struggling with feeling helpless. I'm torn between being here and feeling I should be at home.
