A gift wrap organiser/storage tube.... Someone does because it's out of stock!!

Really? My half used tubes just get shoved in the wardrobe until they're next required..

Who actually buys this shit?

Yep. I bought one of those 'really useful box' ones.

cjt110 · 12/12/2018 12:12

Fevertree For £13? And was it useful?? Or were you just robbed?

My wrapping paper is in a bag in the airing cupboard.

cjt110 · 12/12/2018 12:17

@LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD We have an "antique" Clintons wrapping paper bag which is the designated space for the odds and ends

I have the first one. It keeps them all together and stops them getting ripped.

My only objection with that one (in the op) is that it is a bit too long so there is an annoying amount of air at the top.

Avrannakern · 12/12/2018 12:22

I have 3. Christmas wrap and normal wrap and also one for a few massive maps (whilst I wait to have them framed etc).

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 12/12/2018 12:24

I wanted to buy the one they sold on GLTC but they sold out.

So I bought a fabric storage box with zip top in Ikea. It's long enough to fit the longest roll of wrap in it and I have all my ribbon, tape and tags stored neatly in there too. Paper doesn't get ripped, creased or damaged.

Stores under the bed and is super convenient.

Eatsleepworkrepeat · 12/12/2018 12:25

I have one! I reckon it's saved me money as the paper doesnt get all ripped and manky in the bottom of the wardrobe anymore, and it's all in one place so I know how much I've got and don't buy more. I'm a sucker for storage Grin

lynnepot · 12/12/2018 12:27

Some of the organisation Instagram accounts are probably all over it Grin

Neverunderfed · 12/12/2018 12:27

My mum bought me one that I used for a few years, it worked really well. However it took up loads of space. Now I literally have one large roll of brown paper which lives tucked down next to our dresser, and that is used for all and any wrapping.

Here's the dream right here....

I've got a really useful box as well. It's been surprisingly ... useful.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 12/12/2018 12:30

MiL bought a million rolls of really fancy Christmas paper for pennies a few New Years and I’m still using it.

AlletrixLeStrange · 12/12/2018 12:35

I must get one of these. I store mine in the cupboard under the stairs and have to do a thorough spider check before I can use them. And yes, I have found spiders in them!

Halloweenallyearround · 12/12/2018 12:38

@MickHucknallspinkpancakes you just made me cry with joy!!! I love them!!!
These are great! Hate chucking wrapping paper away and hate when it gets all ruined!

SnugglySnerd · 12/12/2018 12:41

I have the really useful one too. It holds loads of wrapping paper and I also keep scissors and sellotape in there so I don't have to hunt around every time I wrap a last minute presents for DD to take to a party!

Time40 · 12/12/2018 12:51

I would love a wrapping paper storage box. I've been lusting over one for several years. I'm too mean to pay for one, though.

Crimbobimbo · 12/12/2018 12:53

I kinda want this now.

cloudtree · 12/12/2018 12:55

I want one. I never use it all and if I put it in the loft for next year the ends of the rolls will get knocked. This would keep it all together and neat.

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 12/12/2018 12:55

I guess you found the people then Op. Grin

HebeMumsnet · 12/12/2018 12:57

I know this one. It's my mother. I think she owns more Lakeland products than Lakeland itself, too. (Do have to admit her wrapping paper is always very tidy and well organised though).

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 12/12/2018 13:00

@HebeMumsnet sounds like you are almost persuaded to come over to the dark side 😂😂😂

Kescilly · 12/12/2018 13:00

We have one from IKEA. I never bothered when I had loads of storage space, but now that I’m living in a house without any storage, I have to be more organized.

Marmite27 · 12/12/2018 13:02

My mother bought me one years ago. It’s still going strong!
