I love these threads and couldn't find one so thought I'd start one.
We aren't really up to much today after a busy day yesterday visiting a grotto, Christmas markets and going the pics to watch the Grinch.
Kids are both up for a stay at home day. Playing with toys while I potter about doing all the jobs I didn't do yesterday.
Chicken roast for later and then sit down for strictly and I'm a celeb final.

Shopping, ironing, tidying up, laundry, cleaning...

glotterbug · 09/12/2018 10:12

Got visitors from nz so big family pub lunch, probably last into the afternoon then home for homework, baths packing bags for school. Looking forward to it.

Lookatmeeee · 09/12/2018 10:14

Painting the dining room, although ds (4) has woken up in a very bad mood, so may be a long day.

crosser62 · 09/12/2018 10:15

Cleaning, washing, ironing then a night shift tonight.
But first coffee, watching “get santa” film on telly with little ds draped all over me Grin

DuchessofManchester · 09/12/2018 10:17

Bacon sandwiches soon then lazy day at home in Xmas jumpers, putting up the tree and watching Xmas films.

TulipsInbloom1 · 09/12/2018 10:18

I am currently ignoring my dc at soft play (4 and 7). I have a coffee and MN.
We are then popping to a Grotto to meet Santa.
Dh is having a long overdue lie in at home.
This afternoon we will probably get the Playmobil out, and decorate some gingerbread biscuits.

MintyCedric · 09/12/2018 10:21

Currently in the laundrette jealously guarding my tumble drier as between work, other commitment and pissing rain every five minutes I've given up trying to get my laundry done any other way.

Then it's home for tidying, maybe a bit more Christmas decorating, visiting The Olds, dyeing my hair and decorating a cake for a charity raffle at work.

Goldrill · 09/12/2018 10:22

Sitting at the emergency vets while my lovely dog has the end of his tail removed. After I trapped it in a door. And then I am going home to feel very guilty and feed him steak.
This was not on today's to do list!

Fairylea · 09/12/2018 10:23

Going for a subway! Which is a treat for us BlushGrin

Then a Tesco mini shop and off to my mums for a couple of hours. She’s just had a knee replacement and is feeling very sore and sorry for herself and lives alone so will do some bits and bobs for her whilst I’m there too.

Then home to sort out stuff for tomorrow’s school run etc and eat lots of junk food.

Mummylife2018 · 09/12/2018 10:25

Go pick DD up from my Mums (had lie in!) then come home and try not to cry in front of her. (Partner just left me for someone else).

Should be feeling festive but can't summon it up 🤷🏼‍♀️

PeonyTruffle · 09/12/2018 10:26

DH has taken DSS's to football training, I'm having a bath and DS is playing nicely in his room (well he's trashing it but I'll take that for a bath in peace)
Then DS has a Christmas party later followed by a trip to Sainsburys and a big roast dinner later.

PeonyTruffle · 09/12/2018 10:27

Sorry to hear that Mummy, their loss x

ASauvignonADay · 09/12/2018 10:27

Watching Sunday brunch in bed. Doing some DIY and wrapping presents. Possibly some online shopping for more presents. A generally lazy day!

ikltownofboothlehem · 09/12/2018 10:28

Dinner

MarklahMarklah · 09/12/2018 10:31

Helping/persuading my child to get this sorted out - and hopefully bin at last half.

What is everyone doing with their Sunday?
Longdistance · 09/12/2018 10:31

Watching Sunday Brunch.
Will head to my mums, and come home to put the tree up 🎄

Rockbird · 09/12/2018 10:32

DH is taking the sprogs to his parents for the day and I'm staying at home (on my own!!!) where I shall clean the kitchen, put some washing on and then settle down in front of a Christmas film with (hopefully) a cat or two and my laptop to do some work. I shall eat crap for lunch and enjoy the silence.

Justgivemesomepeace · 09/12/2018 10:33

Moving furniture, going buying tree, putting it up, putting decs up, clearing up, tidting, washing, feeding everyone, referreeing about 100 fights. Going to be a long day.

3boysandabump · 09/12/2018 10:34

We're having friends round for our Xmas get together. Xmas jumpers on, Xmas crafts for the dc, Xmas games a lovely buffet and a few drinks. The menfolk will have the footy on 🙄
Then when all that is over and the dc are tucked up in bed me and dh are going to watch Die Hard

FullOnMonet · 09/12/2018 10:37

Cleaning, binge watching Chicago Fire later then Chinese for tea 🎅

shecamefromgreece · 09/12/2018 10:38

Mummy I'm soo sorry what an arseThanks

Dh is taking three of the kids swimming with his dad.
I'm being taxi to dd dropping her at the met to meet her friend, they are 13 and going Xmas shopping in Manchester and I'm trying to be ok about it but I'm slightly pooing myself about it.
I'm sorting out the kids rooms while they're not here AKA throwing all their crap awayGrin
I'm taking youngest ds to a soft play party at 3, he's too little to be left so I will have to stay!!
Then the usual homework uniform stuff.

Secretsquirrel101 · 09/12/2018 10:39

I’m hungover after the works do last night so I’ll be recovering today Grin dp wants to ‘get Christmas out’ 🎄 so I’ll have to humour him and not be a grumpy bitch Smile

sproutsandparsnips · 09/12/2018 10:40

Currently watching ds2 play rugby then home to put up outdoor lights, ironing, tidy and then take ds bowling for his rugby Christmas party.

Hopskipjumping · 09/12/2018 10:40

Had a long lie til 8:45am whilst OH got up with kids sorted washing and started ironing school stuff.

Im currently in a bath and we are going to visit OH grandad who is 90.

Then going to a panto in the afternoon. Then home to get organised for school and work.

Oldraver · 09/12/2018 10:43

Cat woke me at 4.45 I ignored him for a while before giving in at half five to let him out.

OH's birthday so given him cards and pressies, and now eating sausage sandwiches.

Putting the tree up today which means moving DS's bed which is against the loft door.

DS's room may take a while..
