I love these threads and couldn't find one so thought I'd start one.
We aren't really up to much today after a busy day yesterday visiting a grotto, Christmas markets and going the pics to watch the Grinch.
Kids are both up for a stay at home day. Playing with toys while I potter about doing all the jobs I didn't do yesterday.
Chicken roast for later and then sit down for strictly and I'm a celeb final.

Lazy morning then lunch with friends. Planning the week's teaching this evening.
I say lazy but I have polished the living room and put the rest of my decorations up.
I have also made progress in sorting out a long term contract issue with EE which has made me happy.
I have lots to do but it can wait until I return from lunch.

Bluesheep8 · 09/12/2018 10:57

Making cottage pie for a late lunch (with leftovers for tomorrow's tea) then going to buy and write Christmas cards. Trying to get bedding dry to change the bed later. Snooze on the sofa this afternoon then listen to Paul o Grady on the radio at 5 with wine.

LittenKitten · 09/12/2018 10:58

Not much! We had a busy day yesterday, so we’re all still in PJs now. We’ll need to take the dog for a walk at some point and wash school uniform for tomorrow.

Mrskeats · 09/12/2018 11:01

Bit of work this morning
Then going for Sunday lunch with dh and dd1 and then onto a forest to buy our Christmas tree.
Then decorating it later.
Cheese and wine tonight.

Littlelambpeep · 09/12/2018 11:02

I had a busy week so didn't get groceries and ironing done. Got groceries this morning and have two roast chickens on to make into curries and dinner today. Steak mince on for the freezer and house to clean yet.

Long bath then we are heading to craft fair and coffee shop later

Parker231 · 09/12/2018 11:03

In Brussels for a wedding yesterday. Travelling back after lunch hoping my hangover has ceased!

BeFire · 09/12/2018 11:03

Currently still in my pjs sorting laundry while DH cooks a late breakfast. There's a Christmas market on our doorstep starting at 12, will probably end up spending too much money on cheese. DS would like to see Santa if he's knocking about Grin .
Chicken and Christmas films later.

Deathraystare · 09/12/2018 11:34

Working morning. Tidying up and watching Money World on Pick all afternoon!!!!!!

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 09/12/2018 11:45

I've prepared dough for christmas cookies last night - the kind that has to be in cold storage over night - so I'll be baking soon.
I need to cook for midday (I never know which Englich word is appropriate - hot /main meal of the day usually between 12 and 16 o'clock) and then I have to find out what "scrum" is (the project management type).

Allyg1185 · 09/12/2018 11:47

Did nothing at all yesterday. Today we are going for a Mcdonalds then to see The Grinch at the cinema. Then home for bath etc for school tomorrow

Maelstrop · 09/12/2018 11:49

Done dog walk. Sharer doing horse. When dh gets up (was on night shift) we're doing a mooch round M&S then hopefully a slouchy afternoon, dog on knee, watch a film and eat crap.

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 09/12/2018 11:49

Sunday dinner just the 3 of us followed by Sunday drinks with friends - same as every Sunday. It's my favourite day of the week

babysharkah · 09/12/2018 11:57

Not much at all followed by steak pie, red wine and cosying up after walking the dog.

GreenDinosaur · 09/12/2018 12:00

I am being forced to visit the evil MIL Xmas Angry Somebody shoot me.

HolgerLowCarbingLoser · 09/12/2018 12:03

We’re having a duvet day. Watched Jamie’s best Christmas, now doing Hairy Bikers Best of British, next will be Good Food.

Later we will have a cooked breakfast for lunch.

I am compiling a wish list of Georg Jensen Christmas decorations for our Christmas dinner decor. Might capitulate, although I am making a valiant attempt to resist its lure.

Later I will visit my daughters and cook them a roast.

Tonight I will chill and get myself back into work mode.

WonkyDonk87 · 09/12/2018 12:08

Bleaching net curtains and scrubbing skirting boards (being judged by meeting my HV tomorrow Grin)

fussychica · 09/12/2018 12:14

Sorting out loads of stuff which we brought back from the apartment in Spain which we have rented for the past two years and have just given up. The car was rammed.
Have now got 2 of everythingConfusedGrin
Putting what we don't need in the loft then getting out the tree and decorations. Think decorating it might need to wait until tomorrowXmas Smile

Vole3 · 09/12/2018 12:23

Working the 7-3 shift then picking up DS from his dads hiuse, going home, catching up with laundry, dishwasher etc, supwrvising homework, dinner, Dr Who and falling asleep on the sofa as I’ll have run out of steam by 2000

Aragog · 09/12/2018 12:25

Late start as we were at a concert last night so didn't get to bed til around 1:30 after the drive back.

We are heading out for a quick lunch somewhere soon and then to the farm to get a Christmas tree. We've promised teen Dd we will put it up together and watch a Christmas film afterwards.

KingscoteStaff · 09/12/2018 12:29

So far been to church, chatted to friends including a very new baby! DS and DH have gone down to rugby club for training and then a drink.

DD is clearing out rabbit hutch and then has an English essay to finish.

I have a massive pile of ironing and a massive pile of marking - at the moment I’m alternating between them. DH is going to cook for the freezer this afternoon, then make paella for us + DM this evening.

Fluffiest · 09/12/2018 12:32

Sofa, Gilmore Girls, hot water bottle, big box of tissues whilst DH and DD are out at church and then lunch.

Sucks to be ill but I'm giving in to it, and it isn't the worst way to spend a Sunday

BillyAndTheSillies · 09/12/2018 12:34

I went to church this morning and grabbed some croissants for DS and DH on the way home.
DH sold his classic car this week so is taking it out for a final drive before it's collected this week. I'm currently snuggled on the sofa with DS trying to convince him to have a nap and then will head over to the in-laws for Sunday lunch.
Busy day yesterday so happy to just chill today.

InDubiousBattle · 09/12/2018 12:34

Lazy day here. Ds is a bit out of sorts so wanted a day in playing . We're having my family over later for food. I'm trying to decide if Home Alone will upset ds (he's almost 5)or be the funniest thing he's ever seen!

TofuPanda · 09/12/2018 12:35

Had a sociable lazy day yesterday and have got up late today so will be frantically catching up with chores today. Haven’t got Christmas out of the attic yet but plan to write cards for the olds tonight whilst watching Strictly results. Will be cooking the usual meals and popping out for a small shop too.

HollySwift · 09/12/2018 12:35

Had DDs birthday party yesterday so today is mostly cleaning, tidying and writing thank you cards. So far though, we’ve all sat around in our PJs drinking tea, eating croissants and watching Disney films whilst DC play with DDs new toys Grin
