If you like Star Trek which was your favourite series?

Just started rewatching DS9 on netflix.

Did start to watch discovery but couldn't get into it

My second favourite film was the undiscovered country, I've got that on several versions as well. Went to see it loads at the cinema. Trek and Shakespeare, fab.

DS9 all the way. I loved the imperfections of the characters. Plus Andrew Robinson as a recurring star.

TNG and Voyager but my dad loved DS9 (I found it a bit overly serious but did like Sisko)

Voyager. I loathed Kes though. Episodes where she has a major role are ruined for me.
Janeway is a very flawed character, though interesting, who executed Tuvix, so I’m amazed she was promoted to Admiral.

The next generation. Inner light is the best episode ever (and one of the best episodes of TV from any genre), so memorable beautiful and moving.
I also like Voyager and the original series. How can anyone not love Mr Spock?

TNG and Voyager, love the story arc of Data's development and Seven of Nine's too. Rewatch the series every year. I do adore Shatner though but have watched the films more times than the original series.

TNG, but I also love the original series. I was doubtful about TNG until I finally started watching it. I do like DS9, but have never managed to watch it all the way through unfortunately. I hated Voyager. Janeway drove me to distraction and as for Neelix and Seven of Nine - shoot them out of the airlock! I tried Enterprise, but despite Scott Bakula's best efforts, it failed to grab me. I haven't seen Discovery, but I will try and watch the new one with Picard. I adore Patrick Stewart.

I’m really heartened by all the DS9 love on here, would be my first choice just pipping TNG (mainly because I hated Riker). Really enjoyed the first season of Discovery. Sonequa Martin-Green is excellent and it’s great to have a non-male, non-white and indeed non-captain lead (but I am quite hoping that Jason Isaacs comes back...)

Discovery also good

First Contact best film although I do have a soft spot for Wrath of Khan and the over acting. GENISIS

New films also good apart from the last one

(my favourite sci series was/is stargate universe) hmm liked some deep space 9 -liked bits of enterprise (Trip :) )

TNG, then DS9.

I never really took to Voyager. It never felt right that they continued by the same rules and structure when so far from earth they might never get back. I didn't want them to go all lord of the flies, but it felt like there should be some significant changes.

I never got past the anachronism of Sam Beckett being in charge of a spaceship, so couldn't really get into Enterprise.

I remember watching "best of both worlds" part one when it first aired and screaming noooooo at the tv. My parents thought something serious had happened and found me blabbing about riker saying "fire" and it being the end of the season. No internet in those days and the months before the next season felt like years, I knew very few who were into trek but it was all I could talk about.

When I got it on DVD I listened to the commentary and they said it was the first ever cliff hanger of a season and everyone was desperate to know what would happen.

Even now I watch it and the hairs on my arms rise. Despite having seen it loads of times and knowing it backwards!!!
