That you know shouldn't or is unreasonable to be annoyed by?

For me It's

-Seeing people reading menus. Haven't a clue why.
-Seeing people sitting around in their house in their coats.

Overhelpful shop assistants who wont go away despite telling them your 'fine just looking'
People who think the sun shines out of their kids arses
Old people in m + s food hall who think they have priority
People with greasy hair
Kids with snotty noses
I could go on for hours tbh

Thankssomuch · 05/12/2018 22:17

People whispering.
People repeating what you’ve said but pretending to have misheard it so repeating it as something funny,

Wintermam · 05/12/2018 22:17

People who have the 'big light on' in their living room instead of a lamp.
No idea why, I just hate it (sorry)

bimbobaggins · 05/12/2018 22:31

People sitting in the middle lane of the motorway.
People who don’t say thanks when you hold the door open for them
People who don’t stand up for themselves

buckingfrolicks · 05/12/2018 22:41

"Needs gone"
"Sacked off" or "sack him off"

BestestBrownies · 05/12/2018 22:45

People who sit opposite you over a meal and blow on their hot food with every spoonful so you get a gust of their breath over your food/hands as you try to eat your meal without retching Envy

HoosierDaddy · 05/12/2018 23:00

Me too! I hate a "big light"

Can we be pals and sit in a softly lit room?

NotyourMummynotyourmilk · 05/12/2018 23:06

I get annoyed by people’s lights in their gardens at Christmas. Some look like they have gone outside, thrown the lights in the tree and plugged them in. If you are going to decorate a tree just make an effort. And please try and ensure it is a tree that looks a bit like a Christmas tree!!

TroyKing · 05/12/2018 23:29

I once sat opposite a woman on a train who must have been the spawn of satan as she tortured me and the man I sat next to by reading a magazine and then LICKING her index finger each time she turned a page.

If we'd gone through a tunnel I would have throttled her.

This will annoy a few on here but I don't like dummies/pacifiers anyway but I cannot stand seeing one plugged in the mouth of an infant that can toddle/walk.

ThistleAmore · 06/12/2018 02:18

@Wintermam, I completely agree. This gives me the rage and I don't know why.

In other news: this weird humble-braggy, passive-aggressive FB 'quiz results' thing doing the rounds just now about how people (women, I mean women, because they are) are so brave and noble and stunning because they've come through pain like nobody else and will always love, but somebody hurts their loved ones, they'll respond like a rabid sabre-toothed tiger.

Fuck off, Sandra, everybody knows you're a twat already.

Thejezebel · 06/12/2018 02:28

People posting about trivial inconveniences in their lives as if the world is going to fucking end because Morrisons doesn't stock their particular caviar.

Some people have to read this shit with real problems.

Klobuchar · 06/12/2018 02:30

People who delete their own social media posts if they don’t get enough likes/ responses

People who leave parties/ social gatherings etc without saying goodbye to anyone at all. Apparently it’s all about making themselves the centre of attention even when they’ve gone which certainly fits in with the people I know who do it

The word “indomitable”. Let’s face it, it means “old cow”, doesn’t it? Never applied to men or young women, ever.

I’ll be back with a million more late

Willyoubuymeahouseofgold · 06/12/2018 02:49

Burning my tongue
People deliberately giving me. fright
People who walk along the street smiling
The phrase " Is it just me...?"

incallthebloodytime · 06/12/2018 03:05

People who will declare they are "a bit OCD" and go on to list why they think them liking something a certain way is probably OCD

Or "slightly autistic" because they are fond of maths or a bit of a dick socially

It's fucking not

You won't declare you're "a bit schizophrenic" casually will you?!

Willyoubuymeahouseofgold · 06/12/2018 03:09

Any word that gets shortened and has "y /ie" added.... and the person who says it

Chinnychinnychinnychib · 06/12/2018 03:13

People who say ‘Sainsbo’s’

HappyEverIftar · 06/12/2018 03:13

People who sneeze multiple times. Once is fine, but I get a stabby rage when people have a sneezing fit. Completely unreasonable I know Angry Blush

vinegarqueen · 06/12/2018 03:29

When you ask if someone ”can” pass you something and they just say, ”yes, I can” and then sit there looking smug until you replace ”can” with ”will” or ”may”. Petty and controlling.

”Sugar in your tea?”
”No thanks, I'm sweet enough already.”

vinegarqueen · 06/12/2018 03:30

...and not being able to paragraph on the mumsnet app. ARRG

ToffeeNosed · 06/12/2018 04:10

"I don't like cats" followed by "but I wouldn't hurt one"
Why would you even think of hurting an animal? It's not choice a or b.
Just say I don't like cats ffs!

NameChangeToAvoidBeingFound · 06/12/2018 06:19

Yes @incallthebloodytime, as someone who is autistic and OCD this drives me mad. The only people that I find it ok when they say it is a housemate who is most likely autistic but would be just within the diagnosis criteria, he mentioned his parents thought about pursuing it but didn't bother because they and the schools were able to make minor adjustments when he needed them and he's doing fine now because he is self aware and another friend who's father and sister are autistic, knows he meets the criteria for a diagnosis but doesn't see the point as getting it as he's fine without the adjustments and knows what he needs and who he is without it and feels that what he's worked for would be discredited in some way because of the diagnosis as its in a field that the autistic stereotype is set in.

Not washing hands after going to the bathroom, unfortunately most of my family do this unless they're out it's grim and I avoid touching their hands.

Ilovealexa · 06/12/2018 06:27

People on the school run (worse if they have a pram) who just walk SO BLOODY SLOWLY. Janice, you might have nothing better to do with your time than sit and watch This Morning but unfortunately those days are long gone for me and I’ve got work to get to. Especially bad when it’s people walking 3/4 abreast and you can’t get past them without asking them to move then get tutted at.
It’s also particularly annoying at the end of the day when I just want to get home to my nice warm house, not saunter along at 1MPH.

Inspired by another thread. People parking in front of my house (which yes they have every right to do). It makes me seethe with rage because I want to park directly at my front gate and path and not have to look at someone else’s shite car sitting outside my house. Bonus points for motorhomes or caravans Angry
