HappyEverIftar · 03/12/2018 13:05

Fine.

If I do it Grin

TeaAndNoSympathy · 03/12/2018 13:06

No.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 03/12/2018 13:08

Oh god, no. Absolutely not.

Twickerhun · 03/12/2018 13:09

Crime.

notsmartenough · 03/12/2018 13:10

It's annoying.

minipie · 03/12/2018 13:10

Fine in our house because nobody likes the fruity ones. If we waited till someone eats those we’d be waiting forever.

amusedbush · 03/12/2018 13:10

Fine, as long as you tell other people that you're doing it. No point leaving the scabby toffee ones indefinitely if there are lovely chocolates underneath!

Mercedes519 · 03/12/2018 13:11

Crime. You have to finish the ones you don't really like as 'payment for getting to the next later.

DH mines the next later. Feel like I should LTB when I discover it.

sackrifice · 03/12/2018 13:12

Tip the first layer onto the second and ditch the whole layer thing...win-win.

PointlessUsername · 03/12/2018 13:13

Crime.

ApolloandDaphne · 03/12/2018 13:13

The toffee ones are the best but if only fruit creams or Turkish delight left then it is fine to move onto the next layer!

NuttierThanSquirrelShit · 03/12/2018 13:14

Major crime. Unless the one that I want is on the bottom row, then it's absolutely fine.

RagingWhoreBag · 03/12/2018 13:14

If there’s only 2 or 3 left on top, fine but put those ones underneath too.

If someone has eaten the best two from the top and then goes underneath to nab the same ones from the bottom LTB

Theknacktoflying · 03/12/2018 13:16

No jury would convict ...

tabulahrasa · 03/12/2018 13:18

Are they yours? If they’re yours then do what you want, I eat the ones I like from both layers and palm off the inferior ones on other people.....

Iruka · 03/12/2018 13:18

I tip the left overs onto the bottom layer and get rid of the top tray too :)

SpoonBlender · 03/12/2018 13:18

Absolutely fine. As long as they're being shared evenly, otherwise it's war.

LemonScentedStickyBat · 03/12/2018 13:20

No way will I ever eat chocolates I don’t really like in order to reward myself with nice ones. I am kind though, I make sure everyone gets a chance at their favourite.

Winlinbin · 03/12/2018 13:23

It’s the best thing about growing up and finally being the boss. Not having to plough through yucky Turkish Delight and caramels but being able to move straight on to yhe yummier ones. Than when the box is empty of all the nice ones the rejects are used in the garage mouse traps.

EnidButton · 03/12/2018 13:39

Totallly fine. Life's too short, eat your favourites first.

llangennith · 03/12/2018 13:43

Fine. Eat all the ones you like whenever they are😊

Chewbecca · 03/12/2018 13:45

Fine. Polite to move the leftovers from the top layer to the bottom in the process.

Fink · 03/12/2018 13:47

The only acceptable way to do it is to wait until there are few enough chocolates on the top layer that they will fill the gaps left by the ones you take from the next layer down. So although the top layer isn't 'finished', you are able to chuck it away and legimately be on the second layer.

DeathyMcDeathStarFace · 03/12/2018 14:50

Fine, but as there are 6 of us if we all want similar there are never enough in the top layer to go round so start the bottom layer.

As long as they all get eaten (which they do) I don't really care what order they go in now (used to have top layer then bottom when little though).
