What Christmas song do you really dislike?

Now the Xmas songs are out in full force, I’m reminded of the ones I totally hate.

Destiny’s Child “Doesn’t It Feel Like Christmas”; so smug and grabby. Shame they need thousands of $ spending on them to enjoy the festive period

Also, that pervy Love Actually version of Love is All Around, with Bill somebody or other sliming all over the Santa-esque ladies.

I hate Driving Home for Christmas. I can’t even explain my irrational loathing for this song I just can’t stand it. Also not a fan of All I Want For Christmas Is You but it doesn’t set my teeth on edge the same way

That Coldplay one where they sing 'Doesn't really feel like Christmas at all'. I hate Coldplay, and it just seems typical that they'd bring out a Christmas song with such a droning tune and miserable lyrics!

I like most of the ones mentioned so far though - even Driving home for Christmas, as it reminds me of when I used to do the 200 mile drive back to my parents', early Christmas morning.

"Baby, It's Cold Outside" isn't inappropriate and the line isn't meant to imply her drink has been spiked.

And in Neptune's Daughter it's sung twice, the second time with a female taking the lead (Betty Garrett and Red Skelton - a great version of the song).

Personally I can't stand Mistletoe and Wine, awful.

I have a seething hatred of War Is Over mainly because one Christmas Day our family had our Christmas lunch at a local hotel .. we were put in a cheerless alcove and the only song on repeat for 3 bloody hours was this one

Have just heard Madonna and her twee Santa Baby on the radio ... this song also gives me rage!

Fairytale of New York and Live Aid - annoys me because there is never snow in Africa at Christmas time because it's summer there, so it's a stupid point to make!

YY to the Christmas wrapping song. It drives me mad. So annoying. Even thinking about it makes me feel annoyed!

Band Aid I get more and more wound up about every year and last year I finally banned it completely. Ridiculous drivel. I don't care about any others, I know the lyrics to most of them are bilge but I can overlook a bit of cheese because Christmas.

I do find the Elton John one a bit annoying too. And frosty the snowman.

Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas.

As soon as that first chord plays and the first "AAAAAAIIIIIEEEE" and the radio goes off.

Most of them, especially Christmas Wrapping: 'Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas but I think I'll miss this one this year' SO irritating!!

The only one I really don't like is Mariah Carey - all that "30 notes per syllable" malarkey grates on me. Whilst I'm usually intolerant of cheesy music, Eighties Christmas songs remind me of being in the 6th form at school and the excitement of Christmas parties and our new-found freedom to go to the pub!
