Just watched it. Totally loved it, cried like a baby. What other movies have I missed in my 32 years? House to myself tomorrow so any ideas for movies i need to see? Planning a lazy Sunday before things hot up with the big C (🎄)What's your favourites?

The Postman. Il Postino - it's an Italian movie from from early 90s. Beautiful.

Antonia's Line - mid 90s, Dutch movie.

If you don't mind subtitles.

I watched Steel magnolias for the first time yesterday. I'd seen bits and pieces over the years, but had no idea that she died, that was a shock, but it was all so strong and positive.

Justmuddlingalong · 01/12/2018 22:55

Life is beautiful. It's Italian with subtitles. My god. It's so sad. So beautiful, well made and stays with you.

Not seen the film, but the book is one of my favourites. Highly recommend it.

I put up a clip from 'Calendar Girls' on a cake thread last night and had a reply saying that the OP hadn't seen it, but will. One I had totally forgotten about until my DS reminded me was 'The Breakfast Club'.
