It's the Christmas season for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

I bet all the Nativity parts are allocated fairly and no-one gets "sheep; noises off" year after year.

Today Andreas, Ulrike, Friedrich and Klara have gone for a walk in the snowy woods. They see a lovely group of deer.

Friedrich and Klara are excited to see a wild boar.

And here are foxes, badgers, rabbits, squirrels and birds.

And the adults winter woolies are very on trend

Ahhhhh..that woodland scene has reinstated my belief in the animals of Lowbeach!

Lovely, lovely scenes. I hope they have a mobile phone in case they find a drone operator whilst out on their walks.

So enjoying this! I want to be a Waterbury Singer in a blue dress, but I can't sing, would they let me have a dress even if I was only putting out chairs and organising refreshments? They are important jobs too in choir world.

I realise I missed RW2 , must get to classics and enjoy the pageantry, loved RW1 btw.

Fuzzy, we do have quite a few animals from various sets. Quite a few cats and dogs (including police dogs), horses (knights, carriage horses, police horses, showjumping), woodland animals, sheep, ox, donkey, camel (from nativity), lots of sea creatures (whale, dolphin, octopus, fish, starfish, crab etc), many birds (gulls, corvids, doves, parrots from pirate sets etc) monkeys from pirate sets. Quite a menagerie!

I saw some Playmo sets on sale in Morrison's today and my first thought was of you!

I want to see more cats! (Got any black ones?)

I'm bumping this as a public service to prevent it slipping down a page! It's a shame none of our DGCs has been into Playmobil. Although DGD has set up a Sylvanian Nativity scene, which is rather lovely.
