It's the Christmas season for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Love the skating! Where do you get the amazing backgrounds from?

All the backgrounds are part of Playmobil advent calendars. This one was from the royal ice skating advent calendar. The Post Office was from a Christmas in the Post Office one, which we had several years ago when ds was younger.

I note that neither Princess Juliet or the Duchess of Waterbury are skating. Does this mean that there might be some pregnancy announcements pending? There must at least be some speculation in the press now.

Haha, no, it's just that with adult Playmo people they can only either have fixed skates (non removable) or the sort that slot into a groove on the shoe. None of the royals have either fixed skates or grooved shoes. It's ok for the kids though, as they have skates that can clip onto their shoes...

And they voted to remain, who knows how dire it would be if they were leaving. Guess it saves having to get loads of scenes of prepers buying up stocks, planes grounded and looters roiting in the streets. Can I move there?

It's been a tiring few weeks and this thread has really cheered me up. In fact, I want to move to Playmoland. It is all so lovely and cosy

There is a shop near me that does 3D prints of people - the smallest is about playmo size ....
