It's the Christmas season for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Thank you for all your suggestions, but I have organised all my scenes now anyway maybe I can use some suggestions for next year.

I haven't tweeted my photos anywhere, as I'm not much of a social media user really, only use FB and am not on Twitter, Instagram etc.

Anyway, today Matthias has taken Emil and his friend Noel to a frozen pond for a bit of curling.

Me neither, brizzle, I get the feeling that Marta is quite a traditional person!

Marta will, one day, have a lovely farmhouse kitchen and will make lebkuchen and pfeffernusse at Christmas. The playmobil people will be queuing outside her door after they have been curling.

I am pleased to see that Christmas spirit is well entrenched in Lowbeach on Sea. No sign of Jack (forgotten his name ) the robber...he's not hiding behind a tree somewhere is he, ready to sabotage the winter sports?

Where's PC Plod when you need him? He should at least be out on his beat, but I reckon that's what cutbacks to the police service does for you..grrr..

Actually, I think Jack is a Ruggington lad. He was arrested at the Royal wedding in May for stealing a woman's purse out of her bag.

He is the one on the right in this set...

In In Ruggington, the Royal family have their cousins from overseas staying. On a frozen lake outside Roundwood Palace, Prince Andrei and Princess Zinaida are skating with their daughter Princess Elizaveta. The Duke of Ruggington has brought his daughter Princess Madeline to join them.

The Duke of Ruggington watches from the snowy bank, while everyone skates.
