What films does your 2 year old enjoy

With the winter upon us I'm wondering whether we might be able to watch a film as a family this year. Youngest DC is 2. So I'm looking for recommendations.

What films do your 2 year olds enjoy?

My two love the cbeebies pantomimes, ballets and the other live shows they do, there's usually at least one on iplayer.

The only thing dd would willingly sit through at 2 was The Snowman. I think it's only about 30 minutes though!

DD is two and likes Moana, The Princess and the Frog, The Secret Life of Pets, Shrek, Lion King, Spirit, Ferdinand, Madagascar. She's pretty good with concentrating as long as she can get up and have a sing and a dance when there is a song in the film. And I second the PP recommending the ceebeebies live shows, they always go down well here.

My 2yo loves Frozen, Monsters Inc and Wall-E

We’re taking our 3yo to see the new CBeebies pantomime at the cinema on the 15 December (there are special showings all over the country). It’s onky an hour long and will be his first cinema visit. He doesn’t have a great attention span for screens so we’ll have our fingers crossed.

I think with pre-schoolers you have to be prepared to leave the cinema if necessary. That’s why Kids AM type showings early at the weekend are good - it’s not the latest stuff but it’s cheap so you don’t feel too hard done by if you miss half the film.

Oh and weirdly is favourite film is Boss Baby. He finds the baby fascinating.

Mine liked anything Disney, although DS2 didn't have the attention span for whole films at that age.

My DD (2 in 4 days) will sit right through any one of the Shrek films, or either of the 2 Paddington bear films. Nothing other than those at the moment.

Ds is 2.7yo and loves films. Favorites are Moana, lego movie, zootropolis, batman lego movie, Disney Cars, Despicable me, Minions, Paddington, tigger movie, coco, frozen, Disney planes, wallee, big hero 6....
