What nickname did you give your baby boy?

We've gone for a name for our baby not that can't really be shortened or made 'cute' for a baby.

I'm just curious if you gave your baby boy a nickname, if so - what was it?

Roo. He's 5 in a few months & it's still widely used by family.

WishfulSprouts · 25/11/2018 12:03

My DS has always been called Spud. He’s 15!!

When I type it out it doesn’t sound nice but it’s just what everyone in the family calls him.

Buster, it stuck until he was school age.

Sprout when little, then Bud.

Birdie6 · 25/11/2018 12:29

Don't assume that any name "can't be shortened". I thought I'd managed a name like that when I called DS Owen. When he got to about 12 his friends started calling him Oze. It stuck and now even I call him Oze. Names evolve, and as long as he is called something with affection, it's all good.
