What nickname did you give your baby boy?

We've gone for a name for our baby not that can't really be shortened or made 'cute' for a baby.

I'm just curious if you gave your baby boy a nickname, if so - what was it?

Pixie
Or Porge
He’s named George

fartfacemcfartfaceface · 25/11/2018 20:44

Ds1 is fifi Lafoo
Ds2 is mimi Limoux

Aware they are both 'girls' names. It's gone on too long now to change them 🙈

fartfacemcfartfaceface · 25/11/2018 20:44

Aware they also sound like stripper names.

Nicknames are ridiculous but fun, aren’t they!

Hellolittlesunshinexxx · 25/11/2018 20:49

Bud
Good bud
Cheeko
Cheeko chops
Cheeko chop sticks
First name + "pie"
Pie

Until I wrote them down I never realised how ridiculous they'd got.

@SeaViewBliss

I still call my 24 year old DS Spud Smile

We also used to call him Boo Baby because he loved playing peek-a-boo and Baldous Huxley because he had very little hair until he was a toddler.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 25/11/2018 21:12

DD1 Busby or Brown Bear

DD2 Madam or Hat Attack

DS Mister Baby or Mr F

The twins (DD2, DS) are also known collectively known as The Mice. I never realised how often I call them that till I heard DD1 murmuring solicitously, "Oh Mice, Mice" to them when they were crying.

Cyclingforcake · 25/11/2018 21:13

Started as Bear. Quickly became Pickle which has stuck for 4 years.

Cyclingforcake · 25/11/2018 21:14

Baby is Mrs Moo

Didyeeaye · 25/11/2018 21:26

My DS is called Malachi but responds to;
Angel

Cherub
Mama's boy
Mal
Cuddle cub

MedicinalGin · 25/11/2018 21:31

Mr Tiny.

Yep cringe all you like. I still can’t help but call him that even though he is now a proper child!

octoberfarm · 25/11/2018 21:32

Squishy when DS1 was really little, and now Sunshine a fair bit. DS2 occasionally gets called Little Smile

MedicinalGin · 25/11/2018 21:32

I then had a daughter and she is Mrs Tiny!

Grin

Nicknames is not a talent I possess, clearly.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 25/11/2018 21:44

Baggins. He answers to it better than his actual name.
