Sharing this here as hoping to get Liam’s pic out as much as possible.
Liam is 16 years old.
He was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday 17 November 2018 in the Queens Road area of Aberdeen.
Liam is described as white, 6'4" and has short brown hair, slim build, wearing dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers and carrying a North Face backpack.

Police are now focusing their search on Banchory.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1302 of 18 November.

They are still searching but there's been no sign.

Thinking of you Liam.

I can't imagine how awful this is for his family. I have prayed he will be found.

TittyBoneGhoul · 15/12/2018 23:26

This is too sad.
How can someone just vanish

There has been a body washed up on Carnoustie Beach and my first thought was for poor Liam, I really hope it isn't him and my thoughts go out to this persons family Sad

PerkingFaintly · 16/12/2018 15:02

Sad Thoughts with Liam's family, and with whichever family are about to get that bad news.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 16/12/2018 15:14

Oh no I hope not

Aurea · 17/12/2018 14:32

The body in Carnoustie is not Liam. Prayers to the other family.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 17/12/2018 14:33

The body discovered in Carnoustie was that of a Police Officer. My thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

The search for Liam continues in Aberdeenshire.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 17/12/2018 14:33

Sorry, cross post.

Knitwit101 · 17/12/2018 16:56

I haven't heard anything about Liam in the news for days. I know it must be hard to write a news report if there is nothing new to report but I wish they would just mention his name.

They seem very sure he got off at Crathes rather than where he got his ticket to in Banchory.

They also haven’t commented on his one way ticket ie if that was common on that route as if it was the same price for 2 singles as a return.

They also didn’t say if he had cash or why he was heading to that area.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 17/12/2018 22:37

I'm fairly sure that a return would be cheaper (I don't use that route) and, as far as I can recall from the press, it's a bit of a mystery as to why he went out there.

His family must be so, so worried.

I don't know if it's still the same but with a Young Scot card, which gives discount, it was cheaper to buy 2 single fares than a return. So a 16 year old buying a single wouldn't be unusual on that route, my son and friends used to do it frequently. Hope family get news soon.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 18/12/2018 18:35

Ah, it's a long time since I had a youth travel card. Thanks for the explanation.

They are still looking for Liam. There is no sign of him or any of his belongings.
