Sharing this here as hoping to get Liam’s pic out as much as possible.
Liam is 16 years old.
He was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday 17 November 2018 in the Queens Road area of Aberdeen.
Liam is described as white, 6'4" and has short brown hair, slim build, wearing dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers and carrying a North Face backpack.

Police are now focusing their search on Banchory.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1302 of 18 November.

Surely the police would have said it’s now a murder investigation if they didn’t have reason to believe he has run off on his own accord.

People have been found safe and well after being missing longer than this.

A friends teenage son dispppeared like this, he had gone to London. They found him safe after about 8 weeks, he had been sofa surfing with “ friends” and was Ok - he had managed not to get assaulted or use anything too nasty. He was begging on the street and some local homeless people reported him to the police, who picked him up.

He’s now at home with his family and studying at college. I hope there will be a similar happy outcome for Liam and his family.

They are unlikely to say it's a murder investigation unless they have evidence that he's dead or they have evidence of weapon.
Vicky Hamilton was classed as "missing" for years until they found her body.

Just because he didnt run off on his own accord doesnt mean he was murdered. He could have had some kind of accident.

Theyd only say hed been murdered if they had very strong evidence of that.

This is so sad.
There’s a young man from my daughters uni who has also been missing.
His parents were on local radio. His name is Adam seaton.
He left his car in a car park in August and has not been seen since. He is only 20.
These poor boys and their families.
Can’t think of anything worse to happen.

For those not familiar with the area, the police have issued a video of the terrain they are searching. Check North East Police Division post on facebook.

Yes, it was a single ticket and not a return. The ticket was to raemoir Road, Banchory, but police have witnesses stating he got off at Crathes, and none stating Banchory, hence the searching in Crathes.
He does have a bank card, his accounts are being monitored so police would be aware of any activity.
It’s just so bloody awful, and like someone up thread said, the police can’t really update everyday when there isn’t anything to update :(

It is awful FindLiam; you and all his family and friends have all our sympathy, I cannot imagine what it must be like. Every day when I am running or walking the dog I am constantly looking around me in case I see anything, especially as I am out in the woods a lot. Please know that many of us are still thinking of Liam and his family, even when there is nothing in the news. We will not forget about him and will keep hoping for good news to come.

Someone started a post on Facebook for Liam at 3pm today and it's had a great response with people sharing, thousands of people apparently.

dementedma · 23/12/2018 22:15
