Sharing this here as hoping to get Liam’s pic out as much as possible.
Liam is 16 years old.
He was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday 17 November 2018 in the Queens Road area of Aberdeen.
Liam is described as white, 6'4" and has short brown hair, slim build, wearing dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers and carrying a North Face backpack.

Police are now focusing their search on Banchory.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1302 of 18 November.

Yes, in waste ground down by the newer nursery & business centre.

Aurea · 13/12/2018 14:41

Ok. I was in Crathes dog walking today and no sign of any police activity.

ItWasntMeItWasIm · 13/12/2018 17:29

Hopefully they haven't been looking in the wrong place the whole time Sad

emummy · 13/12/2018 19:40

They are maybe just expanding the search; it's only a mile from Crathes into Banchory and in that mile there are so many areas of woodland to check. In fact in any direction around Crathes there is a lot of places to search so it's going to take some time to get through them all. We can only hope that he is sitting safe somewhere and not in those woods.

ItWasntMeItWasIm · 13/12/2018 20:42

Thank you. I hadn't realised the places were so close. Desperately hope he is found safe and well soon xx

FestiveForestieraNoel · 13/12/2018 23:11

🕯️I hope he's found soon.

Any update? Xxx

I cannot even begin to imagine how the family is feeling as the mystery continues for so long.

What tore my hear is the list of snacks he bought. It includes DS2's faves. That detail made it all too terribly real

Can't stop thinking about this lad - reminded me so much of my DS's in the cctv footage.

Seems as though he has vanished .

Secretisout · 14/12/2018 20:46

As an ex policewoman, I'm surprised the family hasn't made just one public appeal to help publicity. I think the police know more than they've told us. I hope his family are ok. I don't blame them at all. It's very sad.

FairytaleOfWigan · 14/12/2018 21:05

No ones knows what’s going on within the family, not everyone is able to cope with the stress of a public appeal, press , Tv cameras etc.

You can’t judge as you don’t know how you would cope in that situation. My heart goes out to Liam’s family and hope their son is home again soon.

Secretisout · 14/12/2018 21:35

Don't be so condescending Fairytale. I'm fully aware of how hard it can be for some people to face the media.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 14/12/2018 21:54

The original poster answered some of these issues in an earlier post.

They have made statements, and are very active in terms of trawling every single comment on every single article and post about him.
There are no further details, it was a single ticket which was purchased.
Thing is, if he has gone further afield then no-one knows where....
There’s no scary backstory, or hidden details. Everything the police has released is everything that’s known

FestiveForestieraNoel · 14/12/2018 21:54

Sorry bold fail there.

makingmiracles · 14/12/2018 22:05

So sad. I hope for his family they have some answers soon especially with Christmas so close, awful.

BlancheM · 14/12/2018 22:26

The family have issued and reissued public appeals. I'm sure they've gone down every route available and offered to them.

A parents worst nightmare - the unknown of what has happened to your child. I hope he is found soon. A couple I knew fled from their families to start a fresh (difference of 100 miles), it was about 2 years before they realised there was an open missing persons case about them. They had to go to the police station to report themselves alive and well etc.
