Some CF has been trimming my holy bush

My holly bush, laden with beautiful red berries hands over my fence and can be reached from the road. Someone has been helping themselves to it, I imagine for making Christmas wreaths!! Cheeky fuckaroonies!!!!

Grin I can’t stop picturing your holy bush. Sorry!

PurpleWithRed · 19/11/2018 08:31

Definitely needs a warning sign on the other side - maybe "do not f^&c with my Holy Bush or Retribution will be Yours".

WhatchaMaCalllit · 19/11/2018 08:33

Can I ask is the bush holy (as in having been blessed) or holly (as in a prickly plant often used in wreaths around Christmas time)? There would be a difference in how I would respond to the gardener depending on which it is.

PurpleDaisies · 19/11/2018 08:34

That is an excellent typo.

silkpyjamasallday · 19/11/2018 08:35

That is very cheeky, doesn't surprise me though. You'll probably see some of it wrapped around some Facebook tat candle holder or glittery wine glass.

Sexnotgender · 19/11/2018 08:35

Bloody heathens.

TheSquashyHatOfMrGnosspelius · 19/11/2018 08:36

The berries will have dropped off by Christmas though surely?

KalindaBlack · 19/11/2018 08:54

Crap, it's a holly bush, the prickly type, definitely not been blessed, as far as I know.

If you keep the holly moist it will last, apparently.

Miscible · 19/11/2018 08:57

I suspect that if it hangs into the road people are perfectly entitled to do this.

FlosCampi · 19/11/2018 09:01

I had an apple tree in my front garden eith mistletoe on it. One year someone cut it and stole it at Christmas. I hope it brought them no luck at all!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 19/11/2018 09:04

I’m sitting in a doctors reception waiting for my appointment with my doctor named Robin. Which led nicely to ‘Holy Bush, Batman!’

naicepineapple · 19/11/2018 09:07

If it's over hanging the road then they're probably allowed to. Not 100% sure on that though.
I know if a neighbours plant over hangs your boundary then you can trim.

KalindaBlack · 19/11/2018 09:08

They drop some in the road, CF didn't even clean up after them!!

OP posts:
Jackshouse · 19/11/2018 09:08

That is the best typo ever Grin

Davespecifico · 19/11/2018 09:11

Set up a bushcam.

TheWiseWomansFear · 19/11/2018 09:12

Good Lord, how did a stranger get so close to ones Holy Bush??? Have you told Moses?

WhatchaMaCalllit · 19/11/2018 12:58

You have to keep it moist??? Who told you that??? Some bloke gardener trying to advise a lady on how to keep her bush in tip top condition no doubt!
Scoundrels, the lot of them Grin

didyouseetheflaresinthesky · 19/11/2018 13:04

Oh well as long as they are keeping your holy bush moist, I have no concerns Grin

KalindaBlack · 19/11/2018 16:10

You lot have dirty minds Grin
I only wanted to share the cheeky fuckery of some stranger trimming my holy bush!

OP posts:
KalindaBlack · 19/11/2018 16:10

Holly!

OP posts:
CatAndMice · 19/11/2018 16:32

I wanted to ask how he got close enough to trim it, but you said there was easy access from the road Shock

Ohyesiam · 19/11/2018 16:35

Holy bush? Hallelujah

Santaispolishinghissleigh · 19/11/2018 16:38

Holy bush and moist aren't words to put together imo....

ALongHardWinter · 19/11/2018 16:54

Holy bush? Grin . Brilliant typo!

ContessaHallelujahSparklehorse · 19/11/2018 16:56

You clearly think a lot of yourself, op. I bet it's not THAT special.
