Weird things you get emotional about

For me, it’s an emergency vehicles coming through traffic and everyone just moves. I feel a real collective spirit in the moment of a stranger’s crisis and it really chokes me.

So delighted Brass Bands ( as opposed to Sally Army) are mentioned so often. There must be a lot of northerners on this thread Grin

People mention children singing - I am afraid this really grates as they are never in tune.

Oh just thought of another- the Dogs Trust advert with the dog who had a little knitted toy that looked just like the man who he went to live with. Bawl at that. Every time.

I get weirdly nostalgic over different eras in history and places I've never lived in. Like London in the 19th century or USA in the 1950's. I admit a lot of it has to do with media portrayal of certain decades and places.

A few weeks ago I found myself welling up at a completely random moment about how lovely the Last Leg presenters are and what great camaraderie they seem to have, and how passionate Adam Hills gets about injustice in the world.
