UGG: no confirmation email

UGG are having this great sale. I bought two pairs of boots online this morning at a saving of £100! I was very pleased.

But then I got no confirmation email. So I don't know my order number. I've tried calling them. No answer. Have sent an enquiry email but no response.

Now I'm concerned. I don't really have any recourse, do I? Except I paid by credit card.

Sorry no advice but do you know how they make the linings/furry bit?

LunaAzul · 17/11/2018 16:30

How is saying what they make the insides of the boots from providing any help?!

Is the transaction showing on your pending transactions on your credit card? Sometimes the order number is attached there. Was it the proper Ugg site?

Yes checked spam.

And I think it was the legit site.

I'll call on Monday.

Has the money been taken from the credit card? Was it definitely the real ugg site?

bobstersmum · 17/11/2018 16:33

I've just looked up on Google about the linings. I did not know that.

whatsthestory123 · 17/11/2018 16:34

can you link to the site op?

FromEden · 17/11/2018 16:38

I just had a look at the ugg site and they aren't having a sale?

gaggiagirl · 17/11/2018 16:41

Can you link to the site please? Then we can maybe check if it's a legit one for you?

CombinationOfWords · 17/11/2018 16:46

I brought a pair from ugg.com once and they were fake. I don't think it's a legit website even though it looks it. I only ever buy them through stores like JL now.

CombinationOfWords · 17/11/2018 16:47

*bought

Cobblersandhogwash · 17/11/2018 16:50

They are having a sale. And this is the site. Looks legit?

There is no such thing as a great Ugg sale. If ever there was an example of people being persuaded to part with more money than was ever needed (or more money than sense), Ugg boots are that.

Sorry to read that you have been possibly scammed though.

lazymare · 17/11/2018 16:59

What is it about Ugg boots that make people flock to threads and criticise other people's choices?

There is a sale - there was a link in an email from them today.

Cobblersandhogwash · 17/11/2018 17:19

Anyway, so without confirmation email do you think I should be worried?

OP posts:
WhirlyGigWhirlyGig · 17/11/2018 17:30

Was it a Facebook ad that you clicked on? I have had an Ugg one come up several times with a great sale.

Cobblersandhogwash · 17/11/2018 17:32

No. I got an email.

OP posts:
costacoffeecup · 17/11/2018 17:35

Cobblersandhogwash · 17/11/2018 17:39

OP posts:
Cobblersandhogwash · 17/11/2018 17:40

christmascalendars · 17/11/2018 17:43

Can you log into your account on the website and search for recent orders?

Sroket · 17/11/2018 17:44

That's the official site, maybe contact them on Facebook or if you go onto the help page they have a chat that you could ask on re confirmation.
