So I'm cleaning this morning and decide to reward my efforts so far with a pot of Proper Coffee. So I get my lovely Bialetti stove top pot and get it brewing, water in kettle on the go and choose a naice biscuit. All good so far, leave the magic to happen.
Return 5 minutes later to make an americano and sit down in a sunny spot in the lounge to enjoy it.

I only forgot to boil the flipping kettle, so my coffee is sadly lukewarm. And there's not quite enough coffee left to make another which will be strong enough. This has ruined the next 10 minutes of life for me.

Tell me yours Wink

Every pack of seedless grapes that I buy has sodding seeds in them! Feels like false advertising to me and annoys me Hmm

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 14/11/2018 11:03

Yes! Especially when your eating them out and about and have to discretely get rid of them!

When you don't buy biscuits and crisps and chocolate because you are being good and the moment at 8pm when you fancy something nice and it is too late to go out 😢😢😢

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 14/11/2018 12:39

Ha, know that one 3rdrock .... I end up foraging in the cupboards and then convincing myself that an oatcake will indeed be much nicer with my wine then a bag of crisps, oh yes Hmm

Having to drink coffee from a mug which I think suits tea better because I forgot to switch on the dishwasher so it’s the only clean one.
Ruined my morning coffee.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 14/11/2018 13:00

If the coffees not right there's definitely a tone set for the day 😕

When I hear of any local children who are moving to a new school/area, even if I don't know them from Adam, I get all melancholic and wish they weren't moving away!

Wtf is that all about?!

heymammy · 14/11/2018 13:05

Also, when I get home from the supermarket and 'remember' I have to put the shopping away. Every week its the same!

KeysHairbandNotepad · 14/11/2018 13:06

I had to get into a tepid bath yesterday because I had forgotten to switch the hot water back on after some repairs. I couldn't wait for the water to heat as I was getting ready to meet my Mother at café Nero.

It's all very trivial but it put me in a bad mood.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 14/11/2018 13:07

Aww hey any that's sweet! When you see a random sock/shoe or something that should be in a pair, at the side of the road I always worry about the owner!

My husband binned my cheese and jalepeno bread. Having a rotten week and was really looking forward to it.

He thought it was mouldy. The “mould” was the jalepenos.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 14/11/2018 13:08

Keys at least you had a good coffee/hot beverage after! Nero does a good one.

That all the satsumas seem to have been replaced by 'easy peelers' I want proper fat satsumas.

groundcontroltomontydon · 14/11/2018 13:12

Pigeons with bad feet make me sad

groundcontroltomontydon · 14/11/2018 13:17

More citrus-based sadness. When you painstakingly peel and de-pith an orange ... and it's all crispy and disappointing on the inside.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 14/11/2018 13:20

That yesterday I was dressed all in black but managed to wear navy tights. Ruined the entire bloody outfit 😭😂

PurpleDaisies · 14/11/2018 13:24

Citrus based sadness

I know that one!

I’ve almost given up on oranges because of the disappointment.

citiesofbismuth · 14/11/2018 13:27

Horses in fields by themselves.

Wild birds looking for food during the winter.

People standing at bus stops in poor weather.

heymammy · 14/11/2018 13:32

yes cities people walking in awful weather does it for me...I often think "would it be weird if I offered them a lift?"

Santaispolishinghissleigh · 14/11/2018 13:34

When my dh isn't busy and gate crashes my tea + doughnut at the cafe with ds!!

BabySharkDooDooDooDoo · 14/11/2018 13:35

Having to wait til february to go on holiday

groundcontroltomontydon · 14/11/2018 14:34

The torrent of tiny sadnesses continues ... a dropped icecreamSad

Purple I Hope you've since poured his beer away or some other suitable revenge?!

Agree with so many of these especially -

Pigeons and their little feet. And when you see two pigeons fighting another on his own and he has to find another roof top by himself and looks all dejected. Actually any animal on their own looking lonely.

Nyon did you get dressed in artificial light? I often fall foul of the dark navy/black thing when I do. BTW auto correct keeps making me change your username to Nylon!

YY to people in the rain. I too often wonder if I should offer a lift. Then I remember that's how a future episode of Black Mirror or Luther starts and I'll end up dead at the side of the road Confused
