So I'm cleaning this morning and decide to reward my efforts so far with a pot of Proper Coffee. So I get my lovely Bialetti stove top pot and get it brewing, water in kettle on the go and choose a naice biscuit. All good so far, leave the magic to happen.
Return 5 minutes later to make an americano and sit down in a sunny spot in the lounge to enjoy it.

I only forgot to boil the flipping kettle, so my coffee is sadly lukewarm. And there's not quite enough coffee left to make another which will be strong enough. This has ruined the next 10 minutes of life for me.

Tell me yours Wink

I’ve sent him to the shop for more! I think it’s quite a good deal-there was only a small chunk and now I get a whole loaf. Bonus!

The bread sadness continues my dh gave the last of the 3 cheese bloomer to dd2 (bad enough cheesy bread is sacred!) but dd2 doesn't even like cheesy bread so threw it out for the birds (not that I begrudge the birds bread but NOT this bread)

When you're eating something absentmindedly, you think there's a final mouthful and there isn't.

Perfectly ripe avocados not being perfectly ripe. I find it infuriating and immediately so ashamed that I find it infuriating.

When I forgot about chores halfway through them and think I’ve finished and then find out I haven’t

Particularly emptying the dishwasher and emptying the washing machine

Feels like a very effective method of torture to me

Jo Malone have discontinued their Nutmeg and Ginger range.

That is all.

I bought a pot of crudités and hummus at work today. Some bright spark decided to stand the veg tightly in the hummus so the juice off the pepper and cucumber made it watery and you couldn't move the veg pieces to scoop up the hummus. Rage.
