Is it wrong that I eat a full snickers duo every day?

I walk 8 or 9 miles most days (due to the fact I can't drive) which equates to me averaging over 20,000 steps a day on my Fitbit. That's whilst pushing a 2 year old in a pushchair so I must be burning quite a lot of calories.

I eat a healthy breakfast, lunch & dinner but every day I eat a snickers duo (I feel quite embarrassed saying that because they're pretty big). I crave the nuts & sugar I think.

Does that sound really unhealthy?

I'm within the healthy weight range for my height.

That's 45g of sugar in one snack every day. Recommended daily allowance is about 25g.

Sorry, but disagree with most posters here. And I say this as someone who needs to stop eating crap and sort their weight out - you’re almost definitely healthier than me.

whilst not being overweight is great, processing a snickers duo will be taking a toll on your body. Your cholesterol may be high and you are raising your probability of diabetes, as well as other problems. My ex is a marine who didn’t have an oz of fat - exercised constantly. But ate 2 chocolate bars a day. Everything else was healthy food. Failed a medical due cholesterol. Gave him a shock - cut those out and never had another problem.

Yes being a good weight reduces your risk of a lot of things but it’s not the only factor.

Eat it, stop worrying. Life really is too short...
