So sad to hear this 😥 what a man

BringOnTheScience · 12/11/2018 18:58

He was a true legend and will live on in Marvel fans' hearts.

Excelsior!

Atleastihavethecat · 12/11/2018 18:59

I'm really quite sad about this. Remembering the cheers in the cinema for his movie cameos.

mycatplotsdeath · 12/11/2018 19:00

😢😢😢

Rowenaravenclawsdiadem · 12/11/2018 19:00

I know, DS and I loved looking out for him in every film.

Dh just told me. The kids will be devastated.
Marvel films won’t ever be the same without his cameos.

Notacluewhatthisis · 12/11/2018 19:01

I am totally gutted by this. Me and my son have always been huge marvel fans.

Very sad.

That's was my first thought

ALemonyPea · 12/11/2018 19:02

Just saw it on the news and told DS1. He's gutted. Hopefully he had a few cameos filmed that we've not seen yet, as we loved trying to see where he'd pop up in his films.

EwItsAHooman · 12/11/2018 19:02

The characters of his imagination shaped the dreams of so many children, RIP and Excelsior.

I think my favourite cameo was his most recent one in Teen Titans Go to the Movies.

Minniemagoo · 12/11/2018 19:03

His cameos were some of the best bits of the marvel films. Wonder if he has one done for the Infinity sequel?
He created a whole universe both me and the kids love! RIP

Rememory · 12/11/2018 19:03

What a legacy. RIP Stan

LostontheWestway · 12/11/2018 19:14

There's not many famous deaths that genuinely put a lump in my throat but this is one of them Sad

LadyDeadpool · 12/11/2018 19:16

He has indeed recorded several cameos for upcoming films.

I've had a little cry over this news he made comic books cool again and we owe him a great deal.

As I saw posted elsewhere - he hasn't died he's just crossed into a new Marvel universe.

Excelesior!

PersonalClown · 12/11/2018 19:16

Just read this.
My geeky, Marvel loving heart, is broken.

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 12/11/2018 19:17

My teen DS3 just told me. Sad He’ll be missed.

BoneyBackJefferson · 12/11/2018 19:17

"Face front, True believers" RIP

BeansMeansFun · 12/11/2018 19:30

Bless him. Huge Marvel fan household here. 95 is a cracking innings and he did so much. He'll be missed.

iklboo · 12/11/2018 19:30

Maybe he's just gone into the quantum realm to save Ant Man 😪

Flutternotsoshy · 12/11/2018 19:31

Really sad news. I'm such a big marvel geek, have loved Spider-Man since I was really young.

That's a big pair of shoes that aren't ever gonna be filled.

MrsJayy · 12/11/2018 19:33

Och he was a total legend Dd was saying he recorded quite a few cameos recently

JanetLovesJason · 12/11/2018 19:34

Oh no.

PersonalClown · 12/11/2018 19:35

I grew up loving the animated X Man series with Professor X in his little yellow hoverchair thingy.

StingsandThings · 12/11/2018 19:36

Very sad news

Whenisitbedtime · 12/11/2018 19:38
