Why is there purple loo cleaner? WHO WOULD BUY PURPLE?

I grabbed the wrong loo cleaner and now I have purple in my loo. It's not nearly as clean looking as blue. Or clear. Or I suppose green, at a push, though I don't love the magic tree smell.

Don't even get me started on yellow.

Racecar - it's still in my loo because I've scrubbed off the skids and then squirted it liberally around To Show I've Cleaned The Loo like a normal human.

My mother in law. Everything in her bathroom is purple. Towels, hand soap, air freshener aerosol, even the floor wipes packet tucked away in the basket in the corner is purple. The toilet flushes purple water, so she must have put something in the cistern too. Woman loves purple.

I bought a pink loo block a few weeks ago and promptly forgot I’d put it in. The next morning I accused my husband of pissing blood and my daughter of not flushing when on her period. I didn’t click until I flushed the evidence and the flush water came out red.

Do you really clean the toilet and then put more around the bowl and not rinse it? I've never understood why people do that.

I have had pink and purple cistern blocks when they’ve run out of the ‘normal colour’ and I hate them.

But now I’ve looked at that sentence I realize how weird that is!

Why must blue be the normal color for the place where we put poo and wee? Why? And why am I actually weirder out by pink?! Purple just looks a bit odd but there’s something about the pink which really throws me off!
