Well if you can legally change your sex, why not your age? How is it different?

I'd be bloody pissed off if I went on a date with him (he would be in my age range if Tinder was my thing) and found out his true age.

Surely he must be joking? I mean he clearly thinks he is a catch, but he doesnt look 49, I would put him in his early 60's at best based on the photo.

He's fit, but also grey, jowly, a bit crinkly necked, and has a bit of middle age spread. The thought of him passing as 34 is laughable.

I wonder if he has children? He could end up younger than them.

If this works can i change my age? I'm 40 but I'd like to be retirement age whatever that is these days. Then I can collect my pension and stop this stupid working for a living!

How does he have a point? You can change your external gender if you fancy chopping bits off / adding bits, you can change your name because it's given to you etc., but you can't change the date that you were born? It just is.

It actually does matter though. My grandfather would have done this in a shot if it was legal to keep practicing medicine past the mandatory retirement age. Truth be told he was the definition of why there is a mandatory retirement age. Same thing for driving, flying planes, etc.

Maybe he shouldn't need a doctor to say he has the body of a 45 year old either. If he feels 45 he should be able to be 45.

You can change the sex stated on your birth certificate, so why not the date of your birth? One is just as much bollocks as the other

Perhaps he feels like a 45 year old in a 65 year old’s body? I think he’s brave. He should be supported not ridiculed.

You can change your genitals as part of changing the sex on your birth certificate, but you don't have to. So why not make it you can have Botox/ facelifts as art of changing the date of birth on your birth certificate, but you don't have to?
