Me! Well, mines enforced because dd has decided that 4am is the time to get up now and has trained me to wake up at this time whether she does or not Hmm so having a coffee as there’s no point in trying to get back to sleep!

Horsemad · 03/11/2018 04:57

Me. Fell asleep on sofa about 10pm & woke an hour ago.

EducatingSweary · 03/11/2018 05:00

Yes! Been up since 2. Done some Xmas shopping online.

Mokepon · 03/11/2018 05:03

hello!
I'm often awake in the middle of the night for no reason.
I'm hungry and thirsty but don't want to get up either, it's too cold!

EducatingSweary · 03/11/2018 05:05

i am supposed to go to nightschool monday night as i am trying to improve my level of education. ph has old me this evening that he is out, its been in his diary for ages since before i started the course so in not so many words its tough.

its really not ok to leave a 13yo home alone until 10pm, is it.

its too late to try and find someone who can sit with her

Currently pregnant and unable to sleep due to baby apparently doing some kind of CrossFit training/salsa dancing in the womb... I know it only gets worse from here!! Grin

BigusBumus · 03/11/2018 05:07

I'm awake and have been most of the night. Horrific row with DS (16) and DH earlier. DH is sleeping elsewhere and my son hates me I think. Youngest son (11) was so upset and frightened and that breaks my heart.

Whisky2014 · 03/11/2018 05:07

Me! I think i fell asleep around 10pm and I woke up an hour ago after having a horrific nightmare that I was a terrorist and blew myself up. Woke up In shock and can't sleep now :(

Poppylizzyrose · 03/11/2018 05:08

Awake and also pregnant.
I’ve caught a nasty cough and that coupled with pregnancy makes sleeping tough.

PirateWeasel · 03/11/2018 05:09

I'm up doing the 5am feed 😴😴 My DH is snoring away beside me so it's good to know I'm not the only person awake in the world!

Poppylizzyrose · 03/11/2018 05:10

I’m having first baby and single so I bet i’ll be up around this time a lot Sad

Napssavelives · 03/11/2018 05:11

Me. Pregnant with dc3, awake feeling sick and a bit hungry

Skylucy · 03/11/2018 05:11

Another pregsomniac here. I'm now 5 days overdue and miserable. Considering getting up and watching crap TV with a cuppa but don't want to wake the toddler. Desperate for sleep Sad

Mokepon · 03/11/2018 05:12

That's rubbish, OP.
I think as a one off if 13 yo is ok with it, its fine. Presumably they have access to q phone for emergencies? Could you tell a neighbour to keep an eye out?
Brew and Flowers for the rest of you having a rough time.

EducatingSweary · 03/11/2018 05:12

he seems to think that

a) its MY problem to solve
b) Dd will be ok home alone until 10pm.

dd is 13yo and i wont even be in the same town so not close by and at the very least a 59 min car jouney away

Rachiearchie, I hope I do but you can’t choose can you. I can’t go to the loo anymore without taking almost daily lactose even though I watch my diet. My pregnancy’s hard work and my tummy is killing me! Fingers crossed things improve.
I’m 35 weeks x

IHeartKingThistle · 03/11/2018 05:22

I'm up with vomiting DD sadly. We've all had it over the last few days after DS started with it on Monday and I ended up so bad with it that I was taken to hospital. Got out last night but DH came down with it this afternoon so I'm on duty with DD. Hoping she stops vomiting soon as she's exhausted. Not sure what I'm running on. This week has sucked.

Mokepon · 03/11/2018 05:23

What is he actually doing?

rachieachie · 03/11/2018 05:25

@Poppylizzyrose ooh you're nearly there! I'm only 21 weeks but apparently growing some kind of athlete?? Doesn't take after me that's for sure! Grin

Poppylizzyrose · 03/11/2018 05:37

Rachiearichie mines apparently got really long legs. She kicks me right under my ribs but thankfully it is rare. Friends were kicked to bits so I’m pleased she doesn’t kick much, she just wiggles and moves her arms loads. The movements have gone past cute now haha.

She kicked hot tea off me while I was half asleep 🙈😂

graysor · 03/11/2018 05:39

I’m up, feeding 8wo ds for the billionth time tonight. While dd is asleep kicking me in the back, and dh is snoozing peacefully.
