I've been attacked by a sheep

We brought our rams and ewes to check which ones had been tupped.
I opened a gate to move some round the pens and our newest ram took a run at me and butted me in the thigh. I guess I got too close to his girls. I had just been praising him for his prowess. The cheeky bugger.
I've got a massive bruise.

Derxa I think for a lot us a farming diary would be grounding, meaning we often moan about the cost of food etc but put little thought into the producers. Unfortunately not many work at the coal face any more, I work at the chalk whiteboard face and you work at the mud and manure face? Or wool face? Anyway I think an on going thread would be very interesting.

Well if human males wore a tupping harness at all times it might cut down on a lot of confusion and misery.

That had me snorting laughing. Brilliant idea.
Our friend had a few pygmy goats and the Billy got me in the bum when I was untangling a nanny from the fence. Bastard, I swear he was across the field last time I looked. My bum was black and blue. To add insult to injury the bloody nanny went straight back to the fence and got stuck again, so I left her there till friend got home to repair it.
