What would it be?

I'd change mine so it didn't have such a huge thick A pillar. It creates a massive blind spot! The thing is about eight inches wide. (Vauxhall Zafira)oh and maybe get rid of the chance that it might carch fire

Make it drink less.

NorthEndGal · 01/11/2018 15:05

Stop making that fluttery sound when idlingBlush need to get that checked this week

thenightsky · 01/11/2018 15:14

Make the back seats fold down so I don't look like a twat outside Lidl after buying extra long tree loppers in aisle of oddity.

Wotrewelookinat · 01/11/2018 15:17

Make the driver’s seat the right size for a short person with short legs (ie me!). I have to wedge a cushion behind me so the backs of my knees aren’t rubbing on the edge of the seat.

Babybearsporij · 01/11/2018 15:20

Sort the brakes out. They go through phases of squeaking and no one can get to the bottom of why. I hate it when they start!

EyeDrops · 01/11/2018 15:30

Add parking sensors!

Si1ver · 01/11/2018 15:32

Swap out the stupid low pro tyres for normal ones. 😠

Fatted · 01/11/2018 15:32

Turn it into my old car but less old and with less miles

missmouse101 · 01/11/2018 15:32

Bigger engine. 1.0 crap up big hills!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 01/11/2018 15:33

More cup holders in the front. Ours only has one. Stupid design!

SoupDragon · 01/11/2018 15:41

Make it a Lamborghini of some kind rather than a Ford SMax.

Ollivander84 · 01/11/2018 15:46

Make the steering wheel higher. I'm 5ft 10 and it's too low

JumpersForGoalposts · 01/11/2018 15:48

A memory function on the electric seats.

ParkheadParadise · 01/11/2018 15:59

The colour.

PoisonousSmurf · 01/11/2018 16:04

Had a Zafira a couple of years ago. Loved it! Until the fire stories started to come out.
My husband took it off my hands when I got myself a Mazda 3 instead and within a couple of months the Zafira went up in smoke!
But not because of the defect, it was the turbo charger, but the motorway police sent at least two fire engines.
They must have seen it was a Zafira!

DGRossetti · 01/11/2018 16:04

I'd rip out the inbuilt shitty sat nav and entertainment system, and just have a dock for a tablet.

Sirzy · 01/11/2018 16:08

Sort the rubbish screenwash that only works properly when it Wanda

WeeSausage · 01/11/2018 16:17

DAB radio!

Meet0nTheIedge · 01/11/2018 16:25

Aircon that works.

Kezzie200 · 01/11/2018 16:38

I have a beautiful and fun new car. Wish it was a bit older so I didn't worry so much parking it in public places.

strumpetblowingatrumpet · 01/11/2018 16:39

Windows should go back up when you get out and lock the car. At the moment you have to unlock it again, get back in, turn on the ignition do up window, turn off ignition, lock back up

shecamefromgreece · 01/11/2018 16:44

Bigger boot when it's got the pop up seats up.

DGRossetti · 01/11/2018 16:44

Windows should go back up when you get out and lock the car

We had this on our first Renault Scenic. In 1998.

Since then, we've had 3 Citroens that don't do it. (But they do leave the power to the windows on for 30 seconds after the ignition is switched off, to allow you to close them).

On the basis they have the same safety trip the Renault had (the slightest hint of an obstruction, and the window opens completely) then any suggesting it's "for safety" is bollocks.

Other oddities ... the Ranualts all had auto-sensing rain wipers that were "on" as default. On the Citroen, you need to "arm" it every journey.

And my pet hate is the limiter always starts "off".

If there weren't such things as degrees in design, I'd just accept it as engineers not really having a clue. But there are degrees in design, from which I can only conclude they don't seem to study much ...

Sort the brakes out. They go through phases of squeaking and no one can get to the bottom of why.

Combination of dust, and sharp edges, usually.

Armchairanarchist · 01/11/2018 16:49

That it was automatic. My last two were but there was a three to four month wait for my car in an automatic when I bought it. I wish I'd waited.
