If you could change one thing about your car...

What would it be?

I'd change mine so it didn't have such a huge thick A pillar. It creates a massive blind spot! The thing is about eight inches wide. (Vauxhall Zafira)oh and maybe get rid of the chance that it might carch fire

That it didn't have huge dent in the side of it off taking a corner too tight round a parked car 🙈😬

QuestionableMouse · 01/11/2018 19:57

Yep, I can understand all of these. I'm spoiled because mine has heated seats, parking sensors and a cd player. You can also hold the buttons on the key fob to open or close the windows remotely.

But there's still a chance that it could burst in to flames so... 😂 (I'm being flippent but I'm actually quite worried over it. Can't get a response to see it it needs the fix and the garage who sold it to me aren't answering either.)

Lights that shut off automatically when you turn the engine off. Manual wankers.

Jojobythesea · 01/11/2018 19:59

Volvo v40 and literary nothing I would change

I love its size and shape... but it's so plasticky- I wish it had the build quality of my old mercedes.

dementedma · 01/11/2018 20:25

heated steering wheel.
getting my new one in December and it has this. Can't wait!
(work car, not mine)

Mum2OneTeen · 01/11/2018 20:25

I make it be able to fly

Japanesejazz · 01/11/2018 20:28

I’m quite happy with mine

Give it marginally more range (it’s electric). In Summer I can get to and from family (150 miles) without charging. In winter I’m about 15 miles short so have to stop to charge.

On the plus side I do 15k miles a year and only spend £300 on “fuel” per annum.

TheClitterati · 01/11/2018 21:47

It would be a new entirely different car.

IAmNotLikeThem · 01/11/2018 21:55

An inbuilt ability to circumvent traffic queues.

Windows should go back up when you get out and lock the car

You haven’t got global closing then? When you press and hold the lock button for three seconds and all the windows close.

I’d like to be able to Bluetooth my phone’s music straight to my car. I have to plug it in and fanny about setting it up. Would be nice to just select my own music from the car’s screen.

I'm adding a heated steering wheel to mine. It was like holding on to a block of ice this morning.

I’d like it to be electric instead of diesel.

BitOutOfPractice · 02/11/2018 10:17

ravenia · 02/11/2018 11:51
