I love these threads, always good for ideas for meals.

We are having sweet potato and Moroccan chicken quesadillas. Maybe a bit much with double carbs but they are too nice to say no to.

IncyWincyGrownUp · 01/11/2018 13:22

A large mocha from a stall at the market. My gut isn’t on top form and the thought of solids is enough to make me grumpy.

BuffaloCauliflower · 01/11/2018 13:24

Sandwich with seeded bread, homemade black olive humous, quinoa and bulgar wheat, crumbled garlic and herb feta and loads of spinach.
Bloody lovely.

Grumpbum123 · 01/11/2018 13:25

A co-op special of chicken mayo sandwich and a packet crisps and a Diet Coke. Not healthy or particularly tasty

Davespecifico · 01/11/2018 13:25

Meatballs at IKEA.

Crunchymum · 01/11/2018 13:36

Just grabbed a half a chicken from the rotisserie in Sainsbury's. Was reduced as well.

I'm going to have a warm chicken sandwich (on brown bread, with salt and pepper and some salad cream) Baby is going to have it with cous-cous and salad.

I'll fight the cat for any left overs Grin

notacooldad · 01/11/2018 13:42

I just made a very quick marinated tofu curry.
It was meant to be just for me as I've been alone all morning. Then DP came home unexpectedly and wanted some. Then DS2 turned up! I wasn't expecting him until 17.30hrs!
I managed to get some!

MaMisled · 01/11/2018 13:51

My favourite. ....Broghies, cottage cheese with onion and chives, spinach, tomatoes, pickled gherkins and onions.

BuffaloCauliflower · 01/11/2018 14:23

@ACavalo what’s a paupers wellington?

MysweetAudrina · 01/11/2018 14:32

2 Rashers of thick cut bacon, fried egg and polish bread toasted.

happypotamus · 01/11/2018 14:38

I had a cheese toastie that DD had taken one bite out of and decided she didn't like. This was great, as I had wanted a toastie but there wasn't enough bread left for me to make another one. I also had a chocolate orange mullerice. DD had a ham wrap instead.

Justanotherlurker · 01/11/2018 14:42

I’m at a conference today that has food trucks outside. One of them is call Afro Burger. I had a goat sandwich / burger. DELICIOUS. The bun was huge and I don’t normally eat buns so I just chowed down on the moist strips of goat and the side of fried plantain.

Babybearsporij · 01/11/2018 15:24

DH warmed me up some chilli beef soup and I had 2 corn thins to dip. Followed by a pear.
