Sopranos?
Breaking Bad?
Prison Break?
24?

I loved Sopranos as I was pregnant with my first and loved snuggling up every night on the sofa watching it while feeling bump wriggle about.

Loved the ending of MadMen
Also loved the Good Wife - peaked about half way through, was a bit rubbish at the end.

StealingYourWiFi · 30/10/2018 21:34

Breaking Bad
The Handmaids Tale

LeNil · 30/10/2018 21:35

Green Wing
Buffy
House
The Good Wife
The Royle Family

All of these I can watch over and over. Comfort watching from different times in my life. There are a few on here that I haven’t seen, going on a list.

StealingYourWiFi · 30/10/2018 21:35

I am rewatching Desperate Housewives now. Forgot how good it was!

HighwayToSleep · 30/10/2018 21:40

Peaky Fucking Blinders! I just love it.

And most that have been mentioned already.

I'd say Dexter is definitely worth watching, even for the incredibly shit ending.

StoorieHoose · 30/10/2018 21:41

Oh I’ve got another one that is utter fabulous but only 4 season - Banshee

I’ve not heard of lots of people watching it but it is perfection

beltanelove · 30/10/2018 21:43

The sopranos

Twin peaks

More recent and only one series so far..... Dark

TheLastNigel · 30/10/2018 21:45

ER for me all the way

TowerRingInferno · 30/10/2018 21:46

West wing
Desperate Housewives
Rev

TammySwansonTwo · 30/10/2018 21:47

A few others I don’t think have been mentioned yet although I may have missed them...

Fargo (stunning, especially s1 and s2, but 3 has its moments too)
Silicon Valley (absolutely bloody brilliant)
30 Rock
Arrested Development (sheer genius)

I also love Parks & Rec and the US Office, and Party Down (if you can find it, which you probably can’t unless you use torrents)

The Good Place has potential to be a classic, will see how it pans out - it really surprised me

TheLastNigel · 30/10/2018 21:49

And also Band if Brothers. I rewatch it all every November-last year dd1 watched it with me (it's not her usual type of telly at all) and she proclaimed it the best thing she had ever seen and decided she was in love with Dick Winters.

MommytoA · 30/10/2018 21:50

Sons of Anarchy! By far the best Iv ever seen plus Charlie Hunnam was very pleasing to watch 😉

bluetit101 · 30/10/2018 21:53

Breaking Bad
Sons Of Anarchy
Dexter (but don't bother with the last series)
Wentworth is brilliant but not on Netflix, it's on Amazon prime.
Orange Is The New Black

TammySwansonTwo · 30/10/2018 21:54

Mommy you have to watch The Shield if you love SoA. Lots of the same team, and they tried to do a similar thing thematically with SoA but it’s just not as good as The Shield. Like SoA it’s full of antiheroes making decisions, getting more desperate and paying heavily but The Shield is much more of a tragedy.

Also, Jay Karnes (who is in the first season is SoA) has a big role in The Shield and is amazing. Same with Walton Goggins and Kenny Johnson.

Best series ever. And yes, I’m banging on about it but it makes me sad that so few people have seen it because it’s so incredible.

PawneeParksDept · 30/10/2018 22:33

@TammySwansonTwo

I agree, The Good Place has serious potential the other show, Brooklyn 99 I cant take to though, too transparently, Parks and Rec if it was the police

(Same show running team)

littlepotatoes · 30/10/2018 22:38

I really like Friday Night Dinner on channel 4

upaladderagain · 30/10/2018 22:44

Dexter, except for the last 10 minutes.
The Good Wife - such a girl crush on Calinda.
The Crown. Everyone in it was brilliant. Slightly dreading the next series in case it doesn’t measure up.

Purplefrogshoes · 30/10/2018 22:50

Peep show!

MayCup · 30/10/2018 23:02

N A R C O S !

NoLogicInThis · 30/10/2018 23:10

Oz is a good watch but very violent but has brilliant characters and actors that appear in the wire

Childrenofthesun · 30/10/2018 23:15

Another fan of West Wing and Band of Brothers.

And also Blush Dawson's Creek.

Powerless · 30/10/2018 23:17

Mimsy 👍🏻

My top one has to be Only Fools & Horses
