I loved Sopranos as I was pregnant with my first and loved snuggling up every night on the sofa watching it while feeling bump wriggle about.

Loved the ending of MadMen
Also loved the Good Wife - peaked about half way through, was a bit rubbish at the end.

Seriously, The Shield. I still cannot believe how under-appreciated it is. People love The Wire, and I get that (I love it too) but I honestly think it’s the best TV drama of all time. No other show has done that noose-tightening, every action has consequences thing better than The Shield, although Breaking Bad certainly tried.

It comes on Netflix sometimes, so catch it if you can. The first handful of episodes are scene setters and it takes a while to hit its stride, but the last few episodes of season 1 are great, and then it just gets better every year. Seasons 5-7 are just out of this world, but only because of the amazing build up to them. You have to watch it.

Mad Men. I loved it and am still slightly in love with Don Draper.

Anyone who’s saying SoA but hasn’t seen The Shield needs to get on it. Lots of the same people involved (Kurt Sutter was a writer on The Shield, Walton Goggins is a main character - and possibly the best character, Kenny Johnson, etc etc).

Fringe. They just got it so right. It's the only series that I keep researching, just love the characters. Have yet to find anything as good.

Friday night lights is my favourite ever. I'm thinking I need to watch west wing as it has been mentioned alongside friday night lights quite a few times though!

Researching should be rewatching. Thanks autocorrect.

13 reasons Why - I thought it was cleverly done, sad and brutal but a really good watch.

@DianaT1969 I am about 3 episodes in to S2 of Ozark and just want to give up...Do you think I should?

Forgot about Big Love! Enjoyed that when on mat leave with ds1. Also loved OITNB but like lots of others (Weeds I'm looking at you) should have stopped a few seasons before it did.

Ozark - I gave up at the beginning of season 2 too. I just didn't feel engaged or invested in it. Got through season 1, but didn't love it.

Has anyone watched Borgen? I loved that too.
