That's awful. Make them redo it

Clevs · 29/10/2018 14:58

I can't see a problem with the wood, but wouldn't be happy with the others.

starrynitelight · 29/10/2018 14:58

Yep. Couldn't be happy with that. What a ball ache having to have them redo it tho ugh

Iloveacurry · 29/10/2018 14:59

I wouldn’t be happy. Needs to be re-done.

Jaguarana · 29/10/2018 14:59

Oh dear, what a mess. Was that done by a professional tiler? If so it's a disgrace. Get them to fix it.

Tomboytown · 29/10/2018 15:00

The wood photo is to show the tiling is not straight and they’ve grouted it in like that, so the grout is wider at one end.

OP posts:
Si1ver · 29/10/2018 15:00

I'd let the wood slide, I don't think you'd get a meaningful section of tile in there but the rest would drive me crazy. That's completely unacceptable.

Si1ver · 29/10/2018 15:01

Sorry, I've just seen your update. Is the wyhile section completely square then and they've done it on the wonk?

Si1ver · 29/10/2018 15:01

*whole section

turahturah · 29/10/2018 15:02

no I wouldnt be happy either, its wonky and not married up wit the wall tiles-if it was a professional tiler then they arent very good!

Worieddd · 29/10/2018 15:03

Goodness that is terrible. Can’t be that hard they’re all square tiles?

I couldn’t live with that sorry.

MynameisJune · 29/10/2018 15:03

Nope I’d be furious and wouldn’t be able to live with it. Even the spacing between tiles seems huge, like they’ve used massive spacers.

twospoonsofcoffee · 29/10/2018 15:04

No I wouldn't be happy with that at all. Lovely tiles though OP.

TheQueef · 29/10/2018 15:06

I wouldn't pay anyone for that, I could do that bodge up myself.

Pain in the arse but it needs redoing.

GreenTulips · 29/10/2018 15:09

That middle back section has a 1/2 tile from nowhere!! It really stands out as bad

MrsEricBana · 29/10/2018 15:11

Nope, especially not pic 2 and 3.

pontiouspilates · 29/10/2018 15:23

complete bodge job - get them to redo it!

MargotMoon · 29/10/2018 15:24

Absolute crap! Definitely make them re-do it.

HildaZelda · 29/10/2018 15:27

Definitely re-do it. That's terrible. Actual tiles are lovely though.

Ariela · 29/10/2018 15:27

The tiles on the sides should line up with the tiles on the base! And it's on a skew (unless the wood is too)

Did a child do it? I'm not tiler but I could do a LOT better

LardLizard · 29/10/2018 15:29

No I wouldn’t be happy
I don’t own what I’d do though

Ideally I’d want them to replace the tiles and redo it

But I can see many tickets wanting to fork out for those tiles

Whoever’s done that has really bodged it !!

ineedabodytransplant · 29/10/2018 16:15

Tiling....by Stevie Wonder Grin

fiorentina · 29/10/2018 16:18

No that’s unacceptable and they should know it.

ALemonyPea · 29/10/2018 16:21

I'd make them redo, it would drive me crazy otherwise.

JohnCRaven · 29/10/2018 16:23

Oh my goodness no!
