I’m such a cliche - middle aged sahm crushing on the builder. I need strategies to look busy and keep out of the way.

The trouble is blue that CG is always in the way. We need to come up with a distraction for CG so op can get free access to CB.

Ok I've been giving this some thought and I'm afraid the only suggestion I can come up with, Keyra, is that you get a dog and train it to deliver secret notes between you and CB. I think that could be quite exciting ...But I'd say you were pretty much committed the first one you sent. And I'm also not sure it's what a Jane Austen heroine should do. Secret love letters always seem to come back to bite people on the bum.

Hello, hope everyone's having a good weekend. It's lovely that you're all wishing me well but I'm pretty sure you're all going to be disappointed. Me too I fear! Although - I'm liking the idea of asking cb for advice. I have a bathroom ceiling that needs painting and if I could detach him from cg to ask him about that we just might have a convo of more than 10 words.

Chatty gaffer left this morning after setting cb and csb up so I took the opportunity to make tea and take it out to them. Csb is also chatty so having a nice talk about our respective weekends. Cb has joined us but isn't saying much - his weekend is summed up with a "yes, ok thanks". But he is stood there looking at me with a sort of smile and a sort of gleam in his eye (probably squinting against the sun but you know).

Anyway a little later cg rings me to talk paint colour and I tell him I've made the others tea. He says "you kniow cb likes you don't you?" I'm saying "oh don't be silly" whilst desperately wanting to say "really? How do you know? What has he said?"

So potentially a glimmer of hope!

Oh meant to say cg also told me he dreamt about me last night. I kind of brushed it off with "disturbed night then?" but on reflection that wasn't the best response - he said "oh yes!"

Keyra you are clearly a fox. In which case im afraid you may have to make the first move with CB. He will feel bad doing it since CG has been so obvious with his fancying you.

Clearly CG is more obvious whereas CB prefers the strong silent approach. Trouble with strong silent types is they make you do the legwork!
