Are you in Cumbria? We were forecast some snow on high ground but it hasn't appeared in my area yet. It's pretty nippy outside!

GhoulishGremlins · 27/10/2018 10:35

I'm near Stockport! Quite high up here.

It's not sticking but it's still blantantly snow, not sleet or rain!

That’s just about what I just said to my husband OP.
We’re in the Midlands, just a bit north of Birmingham, and it’s been coming down here for half an hour now. It was lovely and sunny before that too.

redwineandcrisps · 27/10/2018 10:38

We have snot snow here, the wet sludgy kind that just ruins your mood and doesn’t look pretty s serves no purpose

Eminybob · 27/10/2018 10:38

Are you high peak way op?
I work in Buxton, and it’s like a different climate up there compared to 20 mins down the road! I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it’s snowing up there today.

ineedwine99 · 27/10/2018 10:41

Slightly north of york, had snow here

GhoulishGremlins · 27/10/2018 10:44

@Eminybob may or may not live there

It's not settling which I guess is good, but can we have Halloween first?

Because weather.

A dusting in Durham, this morning, though the radar showed some more serious stuff up in Consett.

We had hail yesterday by no snow yet. Lincs.

BoldComicSans · 27/10/2018 10:47

I'm not far from Stockport and not a sign of anything here it's just really cold!

LuckyDiamond · 27/10/2018 10:49

Er, it’s that time of year?

ILikeyourHairyHands · 27/10/2018 10:50

High Peak here! Plenty of swirly snow here earlier.

Jojobythesea · 27/10/2018 10:50

Pictures?!? I live in South Devon and rarely get any (apart from March) and I LOVE it. ❄️

Gilead · 27/10/2018 10:51

Eastern edge of Peninnes, got an inch or so but not set to stay.

theredjellybean · 27/10/2018 10:52

I'd love it to be snowing here ...

flapjackfairy · 27/10/2018 11:17

Oh I love snow. It is flurrying here a bit as well
We are in Staffordshire. And the wind is cold enough to cut you in two as well.

gladheart · 27/10/2018 11:20

@Tinlegs I gasped when I saw your picture! You are so fortunate - what a beautiful view.

CakeNinja · 27/10/2018 11:24

I’m jealous, we rarely get snow Sad
We did get some in March time. The only reason I remember it was because I had 2 slipped discs and couldn’t go out and play Angry
Bloody South East and its crap weather!!!

LaurieFairyCake · 27/10/2018 11:26

Where are you Tinlegs?

Lake District?

DrWhy · 27/10/2018 11:28

We had snow this morning up in Scotland.
More extreme weather, hotter summers, colder winters, flash flooding. It’s not like this hasn’t been predicted since I started uni 20 years ago.,..!
