The Herbal Essences one. Confused the one that goes ‘ahhh oooooh’ all the way through it... because if you listen closely behind the ‘ahhh oooh’ tune there’s a lady saying ‘yes, yes, yes!’ on repeat and I just think it’s a tad too... orgasmic sounding for shampoo Shock - made by the same people who made organic yoghurts I’m sure?

YY I know if I know what it’s advertising then it’s effective etc... just irritates me.

Oh and the shitty nationwide ones with the pretentious shitty poems.

Regale me with your most fury inducing advert MNetters please do.

The Sixt ones. Lidl - you cannot compare buying branded cans of beer with buying loads of your stuff.

And the one for the car with the lesbian couple, no traffic and parking right outside the doors. I predict a series.

BrickByBrick · 24/10/2018 12:23

^^ where the one is in labour and going to hospital.

IAmGrootGrootGroot · 24/10/2018 12:32

Did you know that Barry Scotts name is actually NEIL?

It took me a long time to get over that betrayal. I believed him every single time he announced 'I'M BARRY SCOTT'.

The lying bastard.

Souwest · 24/10/2018 12:49

The so called heartwrenching "Mohammed/Aisha/Winston/Mbonga is starving and YOU and YOU alone can help them and if you don't YOU killed them. So pay up and allow the CEO and entourage to have a jolly good holiday and OBE. Kids filmed are either long dead or jolly good children of directors. Pah!

GreenDinosaur · 24/10/2018 13:11

Those ones with loads of traumatic footage of donkeys, bears, dogs or whatever being abused, they are the worst. I have to turn them off before they make me cry.

I know people do sick things to animals, it's horrific but I'm not doing it personally.
I donate as much as I can to charity already and I don't need cruelty shoved in my face when I'm trying to relax.

GreenDinosaur · 24/10/2018 13:13

Raising awareness is important but I think they go too far with some quite graphic images.

IJustLostTheGame · 24/10/2018 13:13

The diet coke lady and man are complete twats.

ruby1234 · 24/10/2018 13:18

The Haribo ones where the actors/actresses speak with children's voices.

Drives me MAD.

derxa · 24/10/2018 13:26

Those ones with loads of traumatic footage of donkeys, bears, dogs or whatever being abused, they are the worst. I have to turn them off before they make me cry. I agree. There was one featuring a cow limping. Well cows sometimes do become lame it doesn't mean the farmer is an evil bastard.

Buddyelf · 24/10/2018 13:31

And the one for the car with the lesbian couple, no traffic and parking right outside the doors. I predict a series.

drives me insane. When she tells her to speed up and she says ' no I'm going 30' and she just smiles back. If that was me I would be screaming at her and telling her to hurry the fuck up!

Mildmanneredmum · 24/10/2018 13:31

I'd have to move if I lived next door to "It's June, Dad"

happypoobum · 24/10/2018 13:39

Agree the M&M one is weird. I can't believe nobody mentioned the bloody awful TUI woman who will probably be back soon, whining away.

I hate all the adverts where the "Mum" is clearly about 8 years older than "her children"

The stupid perfume ad with the Chandelier song is annoying.

Agree with Troysmammy I love the meerkats Grin

TroysMammy · 24/10/2018 14:00

I wouldn't say I like the ad but the cross eyed cat with it's tongue out because the vet thought a furry hat was a cat makes me smile every time.

SpannerH · 24/10/2018 14:11

the one currently on the radio (absolute and heart I think) where she starts listing all the things the woman has 'remembered' before going on holiday. The woman's voice grates on me!

MysteriesOfTheOrganism · 24/10/2018 14:48

All toothpaste ads since the year dot: nobody ever actually has toothpaste on their brush!

Any ad involving lip-synched singing animals.

The woman in the Trivago ad - something about her really grates.

Ioki · 24/10/2018 14:49

The Go Compare adverts bug me because they’ve tried to turn it into a self aware, quirky little series!

Yy to the lesbian couple in the car, ‘it’s coming’ - as a lgbt person I am all about the representation... less so the smug, ‘I’m going 30!’ - no, speed up you twat I NEED TO GO TO HOSPITAL NOOOOWWW. Also makes me giggle the fact that she says ‘it’s coming’ rather than ‘the baby’s coming’. ‘It’s coming’ could mean anything... zombie apocalypse... alien invasion... etc Grin

Tena Lady.

one.

I've

Just

Had

An

OOOPs

Moment.

The one.

The one. (I can't find this one in English and the full two minute story is excrutiating)

And the woman going all orgasmic over 'pretty' paper incontinence knickers.

dingdongdigeridoo · 24/10/2018 15:29

I saw a weird one on daytime TV for breast implants. Lots of large chested women in low cut tops bouncing around. I think one was a Z-list celeb, riding a horse in a very unsupportive bra. As someone with big boobs it made me cringe.

Rosehip10 · 24/10/2018 16:17

That awful Tui advert.

This:

QueenOfMyWorld · 24/10/2018 16:22

The nationwide one 'So I can share sunrises with you' 🙄🤮

desertmum · 24/10/2018 16:35

we always laugh at the Wayfair one - 'do they do high end stuff too?' hahahaha basically telling her friend her furniture is cheap shit.

All the incontinence pad ones but particularly the one where she says 'makes me feel protucted and prutty' in that ridiculous accent.

I am a grumpy old woman who shouts at the TV Grin

Whereisthecoffee · 24/10/2018 16:39

The advert with the mum and teen daughter where they are randomly dancing around the holiday destination

Loonoon · 24/10/2018 16:40

Any ad for online bingo - they show people having a great time dancing, singing and socialising. Basically doing absolutely anything but play online bingo which must be the most absolutely solitary and soul destroying occupation ever.
