What have you eaten today?

Not seen one of these in a while and they're my favourite Grin

Today I've had:

B - 2 croissants with nutella
L - tuna & cucumber sandwich, cherry tomatoes/yellow pepper/carrot sticks and half a satsuma that my 2 year old "shared" (shoved in my face whether I wanted it or not!)
S - Grapes & 2 chocolate biscuits
D - chicken casserole with green beans & a yoghurt

Anyone else? Grin

B - Small bowl of sugar/gluten free granola with goat's milk; takeaway Americano with cream

L - Two slices toast with butter and marmite

D - Chicken casserole with cavolo nero

Snacks - Dried peaches, almonds

I don’t think I’ve ever responded to one of these but I always read them! And usually think, how do these people get through a day?! I’d be starving!

B: Very unhealthy but delicious chocolate granola and cherry yoghurt.

S: Boiled egg and two ryvita

L: Mixed bean enchilada/ wrap thing

S: green apple and tbsp peanut butter

D: chicken breast stuffed with small amount of goats cheese and some roasted vegetables (fennel, onion, pepper, cherry tomatoes) and quinoa.

Breakfast- smoothie with spinach, avocado, cucumber, blueberries, chia seeds, flax seeds, coconut water

Snack - two boiled eggs

Lunch - salad with spinach, tomatoes, jalapenos, avocado, pine nuts, smoked mackerel, avocado oil dressing

Dinner - stir fry veg (peppers, carrots, onions, broccoli, spinach, peas) with salmon, cashews and pine nuts

Snack - dark chocolate and grapes

Drinks- 3 cups of tea with soy milk. One can coke zero. Loads of water

B/L - 2 cups of white Americanos, protein bar

S - some ham (60g?), 2 boiled egg whites with drizzle of mayo

D- lentil soup (from packet) & 2 slices of rye bread (buttered)
piece of dark chocolate

Sort of 5:2 diet, today was a diet day so don't eat this low calories every day

Caught me on a binge day before my healthy eating kicks in again, so not my normal diet. I don't normally have that much, normally a piece of toast for breakfast, packet of biscuits or cake throughout the remainder of the day. So need my healthy diet back.

A bowl of Rice Krispies with sugar, full fat milk
2 custard doughnuts
Cheese sandwich
Sausage dinner from the chippy
Half a Belgium chocolate cake from the Co-op ( the family size one)
Slide of strawberry and cream Swiss roll for Aldi

I have a grab bag of peanut M&Ms but don't think I can manage them

B- instant protein porridge pot (emergency breakfast after fridge failure left me with cottage cheese for milk)

S- melon chunks

L- chicken salad sandwich from Waitrose

S- bag salted popcorn, m&s chocolate chip cookie

D- pre-made cottage pie with broccoli and carrots

S- protein bar

Dinner is chicken pie I think. With soup to start

B - porridge with a spoonful of cocoa powder and a spoonful of Stevia stirred in, with blueberries.

L - three oatcakes, an apple, some hummus and a banana.

D - Hairy Dieters pork stroganoff, brown rice, sprouts, broccoli and green beans.

Pudding was roasted rhubarb and an Activia yoghurt.

I also had a few strawberries and two gin and tonics.

I am hoping by writing this down I will horrify myself into getting back on the diet wagon!

8am tea
11am toasted tea cake with butter and a small pot of tea
1pm 2 chocolate rice cakes
2pm coffee
3.30pm coffee and 1 chocolate rice cake
4.30pm apple
7pm chicken curry and rice
8.30pm hot chocolate made with milk and chocolate orange!

It's a wonder I don't have scurvy!

You must be exaggerating. That is a pretty shocking diet.

B - porridge with raspberries, flaked almonds, chia seeds and golden syrup. Decaf coffee.

L - salad with 2 slices ham, small chunk of Red Leicester cheese, a pear, slice of Parkin.

D - spinach and ricotta tortellini, broccoli, pesto, bacon, salad. Yoghurt for pudding.

S - banana.

This is a bit addictive - I like reflecting on what I’ve eaten in a day. Sometimes I snack loads but haven’t today (not had time..)

B - porridge with some raspberries, 2 poached eggs and a glass of orange juice.

L - chicken salad sandwich, bag of crisps, some grapes and a bar of Dairy Milk

D - spaghetti carbonara

S - a lemonade ice lolly (nicked from DS) and a rice cake with peanut butter

Drinks - water, 2 cups of tea and a latte

Oh dear not a good day....

1am - Couldn't sleep, I'm 8 months pregnant, got up and ate 2 cream crackers and thin slices of cheddar

3am - still can't sleep, ate 3 millionaire bites from M&S

6am - toasted hot cross bun and another milliner bite! :(

9am - handful of salt and vinegar hula hoops and a latte

Planning to make up for it with vegetable soup at lunchtime, an apple, couple of satsumas and chicken kiev with lots of veg for dinner.

I’m a right lardy bastard at the moment so i’m trying to be disciplined.

B - Pint of water. Cup of tea & 2 kallo blueberry & vanilla rice cakes

L - can of Heinz veg soup, a couple of cracker breads & an apple. Pint of water.

D - Cottage pie & veg.

Yesterday which was a typical day for me.

B. 11am Green smoothie, overnight oats

L. 2pm Celeriac & apple soup

D. 6pm Vegan lasagna, broccoli, sweetcorn

1.5 L water

I don't eat anything after dinner until 11am next morning, about 16hrs

Yesterday:

B - ready brek with flaxseed, cocoa powder and powdered peanut butter
L - leftover pizza, pear
D - sausage and bean casserole (full of other veg), skyr, moser roth caramel bar.
S - hot chocolate

Loads of tea, coffee and water

Today:

B - quark with nectarine, plum & all bran
L - nothing yet, not hungry. May have a tin of soup maybe.
D - got a root veg gratin prepared and ready to cook.

Usual coffee, tea & water.

Today hasn’t been great...

2 crumpet with marmite
Boss bought some treats in so had some veggie Percy pigs and a bit of dark chocolate
Wrap with falafel and salad and hummous
Dinner will be from the chippy as I’m going to the football tonight

Must try to actually eat some vegetables tomorrow
