How do you not read your emails?

I read them. I just don't delete them. I have a paltry 1987 at the moment.

I have a personal one, one for my business, two for clients that I do a lot of work for, and one for signing up to shit.

Total 15,000 of which 713 are unread all of which are in the 'signing up to shit' address. And no, I'm never going to read those.
