Money no object, where would go on holiday?

You have two weeks.
You have been granted an unlimited budget.
You can't bring anything back but photos and memories.

Where do you go? What do you do?

I genuinely can't think of anything exciting myself (ideal holiday would be a cabin somewhere quiet with a very large bed for 2 weeks of sleeping...)

Easter Island

Urbanbeetler · 21/10/2018 15:30

Just being peaceful

Peachydream · 21/10/2018 15:36

I would go to the Amanoi Hotel/resort in Vietnam to start with, and then possibly on to Tokyo and experience an all Japan has to offer. Then finish off in a doing a Safari.

Not sure with limitless budget i'd want to stay in one place. But they are my bucket list places.

BarbaraofSevillle · 21/10/2018 15:42

Scuba diving in Galapagos or Hawaii, or both. I don't know if that is possible in 2 weeks.

wizzler · 21/10/2018 15:43

Grizzly bear watching at knight inlet, Canada

DevaDiva · 21/10/2018 15:46

I'd go for Easter Island too, it's on my bucket list and would have been ticked off if I hadn't got pregnant with DD1 (17 years ago!). I'd also fit in a stop off in Dubai for a few nights at the Burj al-Arab and some serious 7 star luxury.

AnotherCareerThread · 21/10/2018 15:50

Easter Island has never really crossed my mind. That's the ones with all the statues?

Egypt or Russia.
I've been to both before but would love to go back for longer.

Muddlingalongalone · 21/10/2018 15:52

South America - Argentina, Brazil & somewhere else. Flying 1st class would mean less tired from the travelling therefore making multiple destinations achievable.

eurochick · 21/10/2018 15:53

Bora Bora. Never been but it's on my bucket list.

Or two centre -Sri Lanka and Maldives

Or Borneo (our honeymoon destination) - a fab mix of desert island, jungle, animals and luxury beach

Or Tanzanian safari and relaxation on Zanzibar. A friend did this for honeymoon and it sounded fab.

Angrybird345 · 21/10/2018 15:56

French Polynesia....

HerRoyalNotness · 21/10/2018 15:56

So many places, lots PP have mentioned.

But the first place I’d tick off is Japan. I’d go in the spring for the blossoms. Read the book The Hokkaido Trail, it’ll have you hooked

Borridge · 21/10/2018 16:01

Iran with a private guide.

TigerJae · 21/10/2018 16:02

Orient Express

BananaBonanza · 21/10/2018 16:03

Orlando Florida in style!!!

CaseStudyResearch · 21/10/2018 16:04

Turks and Caicos

DunesOfSand · 21/10/2018 16:10

South Americia, Japan and Borneo are on my list. I also quite fancy Canada.
DS would be back to Australia like a shot.

RememberUs · 21/10/2018 16:20

Galapagos Islands.

I am fortunate to have travelled around the world to some wonderful places, and this region is next on my list. Unfortunately I don't like to 'rough' it and have some medical issues currently so whilst I found a wonderful trip for mega thousands that I might be able to do, to go for the more reasonable priced trips I have to sort myself out.

Thebluedog · 21/10/2018 16:28

If it was me, my dh and the dc I’d have a holiday if a lifetime in Florida, stay in the Disney hotel etc

If it was just me and dh, I’d be off for either a Sandels holiday in the Caribbean or two weeks all inclusive in the Maldives

afrikat · 21/10/2018 16:35

Maldives for sure

If the kids were older then a luxury safari in Tanzania then a week on Zanzibar

backaftera2yearbreak · 21/10/2018 16:35

Costa Rica

Muggins123 · 21/10/2018 16:38

If I had to take the kids - back to Sri Lanka in a heartbeat ! We love it there
Me and DH only - two weeks in luxury hotels in cities in Europe

AnotherCareerThread · 21/10/2018 16:47

Funnily enough I have to spend 2 weeks at a resort in the Maldives for work over Christmas and I'm expecting to be bored Confused I'm clearly an ungrateful cow

leghairdontcare · 21/10/2018 16:51

I was also going to say Maldives so Shock

They probably won't be there by the time I can afford it.

starrynitelight · 21/10/2018 16:52
