How much did you spend on your family/couple holiday this year and where did you go?

I am wanting to get some inspiration for a holiday next year and also I will admit I'm being nosey! (Please don't answer if you're not comfortable)

I will start.... myself and my DH went on our honeymoon to Singapore and bali for 2 weeks. (No children) We paid £1500 each! I did everything myself and booked all my hotels via quidco to get some cash back!

Please don't see this post as a brag post, for your info I was actually ill for 7 days with food poisoning so not as glam as it sounds! very gutted =(

We spent around £10,000 on a 2 week holiday for 5 of us to Orlando, that included flights, car hire, villa, Disney, universal, Kennedy space center, wild Florida, all food and spending money.

I went to Canada for a wedding and spent around £1500. My brother kindly paid for flights, I paid for one hotel and he the other and then we had spending money.

Two camping weekends were probably around £200 in total including food and activities.

We went to fuertaventura for a week at Easter, we took mil & bil and have a toddler ds. I think the holiday cost about £2500 plus maybe £1200 spends (in laws brought their own spending money).

Went to Cyprus for 2 weeks in June, £2000 for the hotel and I think we maybe spent £2400 whilst there.

A week in Norfolk in August in a pod on a campsite, £350 plus about £700 spends.

Really enjoyed all of our holidays and would go back to all places.

DH has also been to Spain and london, lucky bugger

I highly recommend the Sensatori Resort in Crete. We had a swim up suite. It was in a quiet corner so felt more like a private pool!!
We went in May so beautiful weather and quiet. £1400 total All Inclusive for me and DH.
Also did Sensatori Egypt, not sure how much it was cause it was an Xmas pressie. Beautiful luxury resort, guaranteed weather... Not sure whether it's safe to go back yet tho. We went just before it was deemed unsafe. Kings valley excursion was mind blowing tho!!

annie Where abouts in Canada and usa did you stay? I quite fancy both countries, maybe in 2 years after saving!!

3500 - Balearic Islands August 2 weeks half board 4 adults - 2 rooms. (Adult dc youngest 17yo, middle d's didn't join us as he had other plans)
