Is there a way to hide a topic?

I read MN via the “Active” threads link. I keep getting stuck in the “feminist” topic (which isn’t actually about feminism). For example I wandered into a thread called “Waitrose” today thinking it was about shopping, but it wasn’t!

Is there any way of hiding this section of the board (like you can hide individual threads) so they don’t keep popping up in “Active”?

Hide the feminist board if it has you reaching for the smelling salts
Not reading FWR posts doesn't mean that Mnetters are too delicate to do so. It's just they don't want to.

For whatever reason.

If you're on your phone, scroll all the way to the bottom of the display now, and it will say Desktop Site. Click, then scroll up to the handy link upthread. Select which topics you wish to hide, eg scroll down to F and click, then 'move from included to excluded'. Then back to the bottom of your display to click back on Mobile Site.

So why start a thread about it? If you can't work out how to hide a topic, it's fine to ask but it's weird that there have been several specifically asking how to hide the Feminist board.

And why add to the thread to say you too have hidden it?

I've long hidden ante natal and baby names but never felt the need to announce it. Until now of course!

Pepper click the grey line under included topics, tick which ones you want to hide and then move to excluded.

Perhaps becuase everyone on baby names doesn’t launch a verbal assault if you don’t blindly agree with them Hmm
