I think we’re looking for a naff old ladies name but nothing cutesie- no Daisy/Mable/Lola etc

We’ve just gotten a 2 year old black hairy scruff bag , poodle cross from a rescue centre-

This is what she looks like (except she has a slight bit of ginger on the ears)

I like Winifred and Freda- family hate it. DD1 likes Wanda but We cannot after

Looking for ideas that I can pass off as my own Wink

Can you help me name this gorgeous dog.

Just make sure you will find it easy to call in the park - we have a slight issue that our dog (who has a common mans name) gets confused when complete strangers call him- of course they are calling their dh, poor dog runs over to them though because he's well trained to come to his name

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 17/10/2018 07:46

Martha or Meg gets my vote. Personally I wouldn't go for an old, frumpy name. She's too pretty!

ShatnersWig · 17/10/2018 08:47

Thora

dubdurbs · 17/10/2018 08:47

horrayforharoldlloyd · 17/10/2018 09:17

I think JANET would suit her.
