Hello owls

Think it’s the spice (cinnamon?) and sultans/dried fruit I hate about hot cross buns. In my opinion fruit has no business in buns of any kind, and cinnamon I just can’t stand.
My dc like them and dh does, mil bakes him some every Easter.

DH is off until Tuesday because of Easter. So his taken the dc out with one of his friends and his dc.

So I am painting our bedroom, I am doing it yellow and grey. I’ve just stopped for an iced bun and coffee

I'm still painting the bedroom, it's taking forever! I did however enjoy Easter by having a huge chocolate bunny for breakfast today.

We've had a rough few days with the chickenpox.
Squidge is really struggling. He has them in all sorts of painful places... in his mouth, in his ears, between his toes...

Horrible day, mentally (grief) and physically (heat). Yesterday I had a nasty (identifying) shock as well.

It hit 25c outside here so been very unwell and I'm really dreading summer if it's that hot right now I've no Idea how I'll be able to cope. I was barely managing the temp before. It's only just got down to 19c inside Sad

I am, it's an arms length from me. It feels ok when it's on but its actually increasing the temperature in the room. I can only open one window (rest broken) which doesn't help, tomorrow I'm going to put the fan front of open window which might help get air circulating.

Its far too hot!
Poor DS2 and his chickenpox in this weather.
I tell the kids that beauty spots and freckles are from fairies kissing them, so he now thinks that chickens have been pecking him in the night and thats why he has chickenpox Grin

Hello Owls

I have finally finished painting mine and dh bedroom, seriously I thought I was never going to finish it! Still it looks lovely now, even if I do say so myself.

Still having good weather here so me and the dc are out playing in the garden, even Pinkrabbit is out here and she doesn’t come out much now she prefers to be inside I think because she’s getting older.

Weather a lot cooler here and I feel better for that. That said I'm unwell with other things at the moment but very grateful it's cooler.

Which one of you has stolen my sunshine? It’s very Windy here today and the sunshine has left me.

Me and dh are going to do some craft bits with the dc today, going to make bumble bees, felt flowers and do some painting.

Hello owls hope you are doing ok, especially you Becca. Have a bout of nerves today for my brother who is once again standing for election. I have been invited to the count tomorrow ( he can have 2 people there ). I am looking forward to being at something I never thought I would. I am not political at all, but this is more wanting my sibling to do well after striving so hard the last few months.
I have never put so many leaflets into envelopes in my life and I don't want to do it again !

Fatty I hope life is looking up for you.

What did you leave for me lin

It is thankfully much cooler here now. My plans for the week have all gone wrong due to cancelled appointment (they rang me five minutes before to let me know by which time I was coming in the bloody door so wasted taxi fares and functioning for the whole day for nothing).

Had hoped for a rest day this week but that's now not happening. Need to get food/meds today. Struggling with my blood sugar control and ibs so it's easier said than done.

Now Demon has pox! Just what i needed. DP was meant to be at a fuberal today, but my mum now can't have the kids so looks like he wont be able to go!

My brother won his seat !!! Was a very exciting time at the count yesterday. Of course I had no clue about any of it and had no insight how they do things !! After a few stressful weeks, it's time to settle back to normal now.
Have a nice weekend everyone, I don't intend to do a lot !
